Betterworks is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join their team as a Marketing Manager with a focus on event management and corporate sponsorships. In this role, you will be responsible for executing Betterworks' in-person events, including trade shows, regional expos, and networking events, and managing and implementing partnership programs that build awareness and demand for Betterworks . This is a critical role within the Marketing team, as you will be responsible for driving successful events by providing unique experiences for prospects and customers to interact with Betterworks.

You Can Expect To
• Develop and execute to the event and partnership strategies that will increase brand awareness, generate new leads to increase sales pipeline and qualified opportunities, and support our customers with unique and valuable content
• Overall responsibility for hosted proprietary events (annual summit, regional sales events) and 3rd party sponsored events (trade shows, expos, speaking opportunities)
• Coordinate the development of agendas, briefs and speaker selection with other leaders on the marketing team, content/thought leadership, product marketing and marketing leadership
• Oversee and manage all event logistics, including collaborating on content, sourcing venues and vendors, scheduling team coverage, developing attendee lists, managing shipping, and managing event technology
• Responsible for suggesting new relevant sponsored events and 3rd party opportunities in the US and UK to promote Betterworks
• Communicate with conference organizers to ensure a high-quality experience and the best possible outcome for the Betterworks brand
• Partner with internal and external Design teams to develop marketing campaigns, collateral, event swag, and physical experiences that are a positive reflection of our brand and drive event engagement
• Work with the marketing ops team to produce regular reports on the performance of key metrics aligned to overall business KPIs
• Work with the internal People team to support any company events such as All Hands, Revenue Kickoff, and Customer Advisory Boards Forums

What We Look For
• 3-5 years of experience running live events to generate and nurture leads
• This person wants to be the "quarterback" of all events, is very organized and can lead the team to get things done
• Prior experience running B2B marketing events, including trade shows and conferences, experience in the HR Tech space a plus
• Comfortable project managing third-party vendors and suppliers, ensuring on-time delivery within budget
• Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are also essential for success in this role
• Experience working within marketing and event platforms such as Marketo, Bizzabo, On24, and Salesforce
• A proven ability to work on multiple projects at once in a detail-oriented, fast-paced role
• 15-20% travel

What We Look For

What You’ll Be Doing
• As a Senior Devops Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the platform infrastructure that the Betterworks application utilizes.
• Leveraging solid Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform to produce repeatable and well reviewed infrastructure creation.
• Using your strong background in cloud computing principles, with specific focus on Amazon Web Services, to build and operate services that fulfill the needs of our internal and customer applications.
• Creating and operating a service mesh based design using container orchestration techniques with emphasis on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Investigating, prototyping and implementing new solutions to a wide array of complex system design challenges.

What’ll Help You Be Successful
• 7+ years of experience in DevOps (software engineering skills is a plus)
• Ability to manage time efficiently and focus on clear goals
• Knowledge of cloud architecture best practices
• Experience writing and working with languages such as Bash, Python, or Ruby to script and automate manual or repetitive tasks
