We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Warehouse Operator to join our team. The Warehouse Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a high standard of quality control.

We are looking for a CRO, Growth Marketing Associate Director or Director to join our team and play a major role in the development and growth of Bokksu’s Marketing department.

You’ll help us build the best conversion rate optimization (CRO) pipeline in the world.

As the Associate Director or Director of Growth, your goal will be to translate this important message by creating, maintaining, and optimizing a CRO pipeline of hyper-personalized landing pages against our many channels as a function of CAC and LTV.

This is a full-time role that reports into the SVP of Growth and can be based out of our NYC HQ or fully remote (with the ability to visit the NYC office as needed).

Responsibilities
• Landing Page Automation - Write and create landing pages end-to-end with full page mockups utilizing creative, development and page-building resources (builder.io).
• Generate Cohort Insights - Employ our marketing Business Intelligence and Analytics tools, current or new ones to illuminate deep insights among different cohorts while continuously monitoring customer data.

This role requires working at least 3 days a week from our vibrant and inspiring Tokyo office, and being available for some early or evening meetings with our NYC team — ensuring your creative genius knows no boundaries. You’ll report directly to the VP, Creative & Brand, and work closely with the product and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
• Crafting a Vision - You are obsessed with food and Japanese culture, with a passion for innovation and visual storytelling. You’re more than just an Otaku and can craft work that is elegant and timeless, or bold and pop-culture inspired.
• An Eye for Bokksu - Oversee work including photography, print, digital, and branding, ensuring consistency and adherence with the Bokksu and Japan Crate brand guidelines
• Management Master - Aiding as needed, and managing workflow and delegation across multiple in-house creatives and external agencies including photographers, designers, digital producers, illustrators, and copywriters ensuring that short-term and long-term creative needs are delivered on time and in line with our brand standards
• Brand Identity Expert - Maintain and update brand guidelines and design systems while not being afraid to explore new and bold styles that communicate the brand story
• Taking the Creative Lead - Inspire and motivate the team through critique and coaching, including presenting ideas to senior management and providing guidance to the creative teams regarding message, aesthetic, and idea
• Synergistic Superstar - Collaborate effectively with the creative, product, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive campaigns
Qualifications

Your Skills
• Design Perfectionist - Possess a strong eye for detail across art direction, graphic design, branding, typography, photography, and social media content.
• Word Guru - Ability to identify and guide clever copywriting that unifies art and copy
• Solution Seeker - Can-do, positive, and solutions-oriented attitude
• Go-getter - Self-starter who works well with little instruction or very specific guidelines
• Task-master Extraordinaire - Ability to manage multiple projects at once, often switching between them with little notice
• Data Driven - Utilize design thinking ideology while leveraging data to inform who we are creating for and iterate as needed for different customer personas
• Production Pro - Experience planning and overseeing photoshoots for campaign or product launches, including moodboarding, budgeting, and scheduling

Your Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in Art Direction or Creative Direction
• A big idea person, strategic thinker and culture builder
• English speaking with knowledge of written and spoken Japanese a huge plus
• Experience managing and building teams
• Experience with writing copy or working with copywriters
• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with various software and tools for creative, marketing, or day-to-day operations, including Canva, Slack, Asana, Basecamp, Notion, Klaviyo, Shopify, or more
• Experience working in a start-up or other fast-paced environment
• Experience with food and beverage, CPG, or other similar brands
• A portfolio of great work
• Passion for Japanese food and culture!
