Your Job:

The North America (NA) Social Media, Influencer and Integrated Marketing team delivers brand demand, buzz, excitement, authentic engagement, and brand love through the ever-changing social media platforms, organic social content, videos, and strong influencer partners to maximize impact. This team also leads the NA Go-to-Market (GTM) process for regional brand activations and seasonal campaigns.

As the Director, Integrated, Social & Influencer Marketing you will be a master storyteller that authentically connects our brand, our purpose, and our products to runners through a variety of social media and influencer tools and tactics. You will build strategies to use social media and influencers to create brand buzz, excitement, want, and desire among runners where eventually they will fall in love with Brooks. You will leverage and choose our family of targeted and always-on influencers to build deeper relationships with current customers to become brand ambassadors, but also connect with new runners who may not have considered Brooks. You will also lead our NA Integrated Marketing team who are responsible for delivering each season’s go to market process, build seasonal tactical plans, manage quarterly lifestyle shoots, and be a key stakeholder in bringing our seasonal sales meetings to life.

Your Responsibilities:
• NA Integrated Marketing Leadership
• Lead NA seasonal marketing GTM planning and development with key cross functional stakeholders and our global brand team
• Accountable for brand and seasonal activations across digital and physical channels to deliver consistent and impactful messaging that drives awareness, consideration, conversion, and loyalty
• Build strong relationships with global marketing leaders, regional channel owners, and NA sales colleagues to ensure GTM and tactical plans are relevant, impactful, and timely
• Oversee region quarterly photo shoot process and priorities as well as provide leadership to day-to-day team

• Lead and optimize the NA social media and influencer marketing strategy that will build community engagement, buzz, excitement, awareness, affinity, and brand love
• Provide leadership in each social media platform content strategy to deliver fun and inspiring moments for runners to see themselves with Brooks
• Understand the running community and the topics that resonate with runners and develop insights that are actionable and impactful

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field or equivalent years of experience. M.B.A. preferred

Compensation:

The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $162,197 - $259,536 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Your Job:

The mission of the Run Research Team is to create and leverage novel, scientific concepts and runner-driven product performance insights to create amazing products to help everyone run their path.

As a Senior Manager, Run Research you will be responsible for developing and leading senior members of the Run Research Team at Brooks, providing leadership, direction and career development opportunities for managers on the team. You will lead and manage relationships with our external research partners to develop a holistic view of our runners, deepen our understanding of Run Signature, and develop new processes, methods and technologies to optimize our products for all who run. You take pride in being able to think outside of the box, challenge methods, results and applications to find creative and innovative solutions that will advance our current state of art running laboratory. You will identify the most critical goals and identify opportunities that will keep Brooks at the forefront of running research. You will identify and lead research initiatives that will bring data collection outside of the lab and out with the runner, on and off the run. You will utilize your proven leadership skills and your advanced knowledge of running biomechanics, scientific method and running insights to develop and manage teams in the creation and execution of research programs.

In this role, you will work collaboratively within the Run Research Team (Run Performance, Run Perception, Data Science) to define the future of the run and create the best performance running product in the industry. Specifically, you will connect the dots between inline product creation, innovative produce creation and the future of human movement data collection on the run. Cross functionally you will act as an information liaison between our multi-departmental infrastructure including Development, Design, PLM, Merchandising and Manufacturing as you connect the innovation of new product and process with the inline creation process. You will ensure goal alignment between new concepts and proven best practices.

Your Responsibilities:
• Talent Management & Development
• Work across Footwear to create and foster a culture of unity, empowerment, curiosity, optimism, and leadership.
• Lead the project work of up to seven senior Run Research team members for both product creation and research exploration.

• Establish guidelines to assign priority to projects and define research agendas aimed at improving product performance and maximizing the use of testing resources across inline and innovation sectors. Monitor and adjust processes to meet the brand initiatives and demands.
• Lead and manage Brooks’ human performance research programs that lead to new insights and technologies to improve product performance. These programs relate to inline and innovation footwear creation.
• Lead research initiatives focused on capturing human movement outside of the laboratory and use learnings to translate to innovative product technology that can scale to commercialization.
• Identify and lead key external academic collaborators that align with the Brooks vision and strategic business objectives, innovating for the runner. Manage outside researcher portfolio and contracts.
• Lead the evolution of human movement data collection on and off the run. Identify possibilities for both research and personalized product creation utilizing runner-specific data. Ensure methodologies support innovation and inline product creation needs.
• Effective translation of research direction to Senior Level Leaders. Provide articulate, persuasive, and actionable conclusions on how projects will drive a positive business impact.
• Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements in our processes, products and data collection methods.
• Provide Business Recommendations and Vision
• Collaborate with cross-functional senior leaders to ensure the inline product line represents the voice of the runner rooted in Run Signature.
• Collaborate with cross-functional senior leaders to ensure the innovation concepts and products will be adopted inline at tech transfer.
• Collaborate with mangers on the Run Research Team to create clear storytelling opportunities as product is developed, from compound creation through advanced concept creation and ultimately in go-to-market product.
• Provide leadership in the adoption of agile methodologies from innovation to inline. Resolve the risks and issues that present a barrier to the adoption of new methods or products transferring from innovation to inline.
• Understands the Brooks point of view as it relates to the entire brand as well as the competitive market.
• Identify opportunities in the market based on trends and consumer needs related to biomechanics and human movement that will give Brooks a competitive advantage.
• Network with industry leaders and participate in key industry functions to communicate Brooks’ points of view that help shape the current thinking of running biomechanics. Opportunities to present at national and international conferences.
• Initiate and lead meetings with senior level members to identify growth opportunities for run research and how they support the multi-year business objectives.
• Develops strategies to achieve organizational goals. Adapts the strategy to changing conditions.
• Lead collaborations with other departments (sales, eCommerce, marketing, communications) to share data, gather various forms of footwear feedback, and allow for optimal use of the run research programs company-wide.

Qualifications:
• Ph.D. with a background in biomechanics, kinesiology, engineering and/or exercise science or an equivalent analytical field and 5+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and training (e.g. Masters and 7+ years or Bachelors and 9+ years)
• 7+ years experience with scientific methodology and project management skills with a keen sense of detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks (self and through others).
• 5+ years proven track record managing and mentoring high functioning reports. Desire to support people in their career growth.
• Proven track record of creating a strategic research and applied vision, agenda, and leading teams towards a common goal.
• Proven track record of collaborative leadership across multi-department organizations.

Brooks is looking for talented, motivated and driven Warehouse Associates to become part of an excellent team. As a Brooks DC Warehouse Associate you'll work in many functions within a warehouse environment. You will report directly to a home department on a daily basis and will be expected to have flexibility to aid other departments as work volumes change. • Accurately and efficiently pick merchandise (footwear, apparel, and accessories) and transport to appropriate destinations around the distribution center
• Accurately and efficiently put away customer returns that are returned from an external vendor
• Comply with all safety & FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone) requirements
• Conduct timely and accurate receipt on inbound product (includes offloading and put away)
• Read work instructions or receive verbal instructions to determine task assignments
• Accurately and efficiently perform VAS (value added services) to product as required by our customers
• Accurately and efficiently pack units for customer orders in multiple areas of the DC (Putwalls, Put-to-Light, Singles, Full-case, etc.)
• Scan units, cartons, pallets, and location labels using an electronic RF scanner
• Aid in loading and unload trailers by hand for inbound and outbound processes
• Accurately match numbers & letters for all instances where an RF scanner needs to systematically move product within the DC.

The Senior Run Performance Research Scientist will lead the evaluation of human movement and the interaction of the human with product on the run. In this role, you will use your advanced knowledge of running biomechanics and scientific methods to create and execute research programs aligned with the brand initiatives. You will be the resident expert regarding human performance and running injury prevention through technical performance products. Your Responsibilities:
• Lead Brooks' human performance research programs that lead to new insights and technologies to improve product performance. These programs relate to inline and innovation footwear creation. Lead project management of owned research projects across multiple business objectives, utilizing project management tools to track project development, tasks, deadlines, and budgets.
• Lead human performance research projects with external academic collaborators that align with the Brooks vision and strategic business objectives, innovating for the runner.

• Initiate and lead meetings with the functional managers of product creation teams (Development, Product Line Management, Merchandising, Design, Engineering and Color) during various phases of the product development process to ensure alignment of projects, discuss impacts of research findings and how they impact current and future iterations of a product, and key upcoming calendar dates for future iterations of product.
• Effective translation of research project findings and project status updates to Senior Level Executives (Director, VP, SVP). Provide articulate, persuasive, and actionable conclusions with recommendations for next steps and how projects will drive a positive business impact.

Partner with senior product creation team members to identify collaborative opportunities between development and Run Research, creating prototypes for new and innovative concepts unlike anything else on the market.
• May manage up to 1 direct report, instilling in them the ability to challenge the status quo, think outside the box, and translate research findings and concepts into tangible and actionable product suggestions.
• May manage run performance research for a given program (future of run signature, product optimization, etc.).

Qualifications:
• Ph.D. with a background in biomechanics, kinesiology, engineering and/or exercise science or an equivalent analytical field and 3+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and training (e.g. Masters and 5+ years or Bachelors and 7+ years)
• 3+ years experience with scientific methodology and project management skills with a keen sense of detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks (self and through others).

Your Job:

As a Footwear Material Developer II at Brooks, you will be an integral part of the Footwear Development Team driving the execution of the seasonal materials agenda through all phases of materials development. You will regularly partner with Product Developers, Designers, Product Line Managers, and material vendors to achieve a common goal - making the best running footwear on the planet. You are responsible for the timely, profitable, and quality delivery of materials for Brooks Footwear. You'll bring new materials to the team and work closely with vendors to achieve Brooks' footwear product goals. In this role, you'll partner closely with the Materials Design team to create seasonal palettes that meet the needs of our growing footwear brand. You'll be involved in the overall process of product creation from idea generation, product design, prototype development, and physical testing through commercialization and production.

In this role, you'll lead the work across the supply chain to create materials, validate them and ensure that products can be made and commercialized with all footwear materials. As a key member of the materials team, you'll explore, research, and develop various materials including knits, woven, non-woven, synthetics, and all other materials used in footwear.

Your Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product teams to develop materials specifications for product functionality, durability, and aesthetics, including identifying needs and researching solutions.
• Lead in the technical execution of season toolbox needs based on the cross-collaborative requirements for each product.

Your Job:

The DC HR Generalist is a key player and trusted partner in delivering Brooks’ best-in-class HR. In this role, you drive critical HR processes, programs, and systems to ensure seamless manager and employee experiences. You impact day-to-day HR operational excellence by staying aligned and connected with all functions of HR and thrive in supporting cross-functional partners. You frequently serve as the first point of contact, guiding employees and navigating their requests. The HR Generalist plays a key part in creating team consistency and alignment, providing education on process, changes, and improvements, and influencing culture. You bring enthusiasm and take initiative on new projects while maintaining a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Your Responsibilities:

HR:

•Play a key role in the HR department in implementing programs to improve the employee experience and identifying ways to make connections and execute initiatives/projects . Includes collaboration and execution of HR related programs and initiatives.

•Work closely with employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

•Conduct new temporary associate orientation ensuring timely delivery as needed and ensure that any direct hire I-9 compliance and Workday onboarding processes are completed.

•Reconcile timecard issues, Workday access, HR systems utilization inquiries, and support DC HR Business partners with providing policy interpretation to DC employees upon inquiry.

•Conduct research to navigate employee relations issues and escalate when needed. Conduct thorough and objective investigations, escalating to DC HR Business Partner(s) as needed.

•Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

•Provide support when needed for the temporary employee conversion process, including sending out and processing evaluation forms.

•Impact HR operational excellence by ensuring accurate documentation and guides for all employee-facing processes. Partner with HR stakeholders to support creating applicable materials.

•Track, report, and analyze Human Resources metric trends and disparities, forwarding findings to the Sr Human Resource Manager and DC HR Business Partners. Complete reports including but not limited to headcount, hours, attrition, etc.

•Maintain employee personnel files both within the Workday HR system and supporting file records ensuring records are organized in a confidential and secure manner.

•Create and/or implement programs to improve the employee experience.

•Promote and cultivate the Brooks culture by supporting Brooks Stride, the distribution center’s engagement team.

•Partner with HROps on open enrollment and benefits related inquiries where needed.

•Manage DC leave administration including but not limited to Leave of Absence, FMLA, ADA, and STD/LTD. Respond to employee inquiries specific to leave processes and be a liaison to the HQ benefits team regarding such.

•Manage expense reporting for DC HR Team to ensure timely submission of receipts and alignment with budget.

•Drive Brooks’ DC employee reward programs, from awareness campaigns to general administration, including Employee Anniversaries, Mo’ Bucks reimbursement, and the Run B’Cause donation program. Support other HR programs as necessary (such as Pacesetter” recognition program).

•Partner with DC HRBPs to support HR priorities across the business, including reporting, data and analysis, communications, and employee-facing resources. Influence the success of employee alignment/acceptance through thoughtful planning and insight.

•Handle employment-related inquiries, both internal and external. Refer complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HRBP. Process all employment verification requests.

•Respond to unemployment verifications.

•Assist with ongoing policy and handbook reviews, researching laws as applicable.

•Other projects and/or duties as assigned.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or business preferred, or commensurate combination of education and/or experience.
• External candidates - 3 years of experience in HR administration including familiarity with benefits, compliance, HRIS, and payroll processes.
• Internal candidates – 1 year of Brooks HR experience and 2 years of related experience including incident investigation/reporting, onboarding, administration, and/or training.
• Excellent (Run Happy!) interpersonal and communication skills with the capability to build trust and respect within the organization.
• Extremely detail-oriented and able to meet multiple competing deadlines while effectively balancing workload.
• Proven ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office programs, HRIS systems including ATS systems.
• Exceptional service attitude and demonstrated willingness to help others.
• Basic knowledge of both federal and state employment laws including FLSA, EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA a plus.
• Experience with Workday a plus.
• Strong self-starter – ability to take on, prioritize, and complete projects with minimal direction.

Your Job :

As the Senior Manager, Footwear Development you will lead, manage, and execute the footwear development process, utilizing advanced product and process knowledge. You will work with a cross-functional product creation team from the collection of insights through commercialization to deliver products that exceed consumer expectations. You must have advanced knowledge of the total footwear construction process including; outsole/midsole drawing, pattern engineering, material construction and properties, and costing. Other critical responsibilities include understanding manufacturing capabilities, anticipating issues, problem solving, and timely resolution. In this role, you will generate ideas around engineering principles that enhance product performance, product value, and communicate them across the product teams.

Responsibilities:
• Manage and guide a multinational team to complete assigned projects from insights through commercialization.
• Create an inspiring and collaborative environment that facilitates innovation, stability and strength.
• Monitor team member performance, develop technical skills, promote career development and be proactive on any needed changes within the group.
• Identify and set departmental priorities, managing personnel and resources through work loads in order to maintain accountability to established calendar dates and ensuring on time delivery of product.
• Lead and project manage multiple projects from Insights gathering through brief, design, development, and into commercialization.
• Drive the footwear development process to ensure products meet performance, aesthetic, and margin expectations.
• Oversee the generation of technical development packages to communicate intended construction and aesthetic details of each project to our overseas development partners.
• Stay abreast of competitor and industry trends and display and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing process with the ability to modify the process in order to advance and achieve new manufacturing techniques.
• Organize and communicate new process and techniques to the cross functional teams.
• Lead the creation of the seasonal product calendar across the product creation process.
• Mentor Design, Development, and Product Management employees on the footwear development process to ensure that designs are manufacturable and meet timeline, cost, performance, and quality objectives.
• Lead development trips to Asia several times per year to work with manufacturers and suppliers on existing and advanced development products.
• Critique and recommend adjustments to blueprints, materials, construction at an advanced level to achieve performance and corporate responsibility objectives
• Contribute ideas for product design, construction, materials, compounds, and components to enhance functionality, aesthetics, fit, and margin.
• Work with wear testing and the human performance lab on testing and validation of all performance characteristics from early prototypes to confirmation.
• Operates to planned budget to ensure department and company goals are met.
• Learn Brooks requirements around budget planning to garner resources necessary to meet department needs.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Design, Biomechanics or other applicable technical degrees.
• 10+ successful years' of experience leading the development of high performance footwear projects.
• 7+ years' of experience managing people, coaching, developing and leading high performing teams
• Technical expertise in footwear product development, process, project management, costing and manufacturing of product from conception to retail.
• Proven ability to lead and influence in a collaborative, cross-functional group without command/ control to meet strategic objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to develop highly productive relationships with individuals and teams that are made up of diverse disciplines and cultural backgrounds resulting in effective working relationships across the company
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an advanced ability to communicate new ideas, concepts and functional expertise within project teams and to external stakeholders.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $139,055 - $222,488 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Brooks Internship Program:

Brooks Running hosts summer internships at our Seattle HQ offices to provide hands-on, meaningful work experience to further enhance your education and professional aptitude. Our interns gain exposure to real work, and projects while working side by side with Brooks employees and leadership. If chosen for this role, you will join a cohort of interns at Brooks and embark on a summer of learning, professional development, and exposure to the Brooks brand and culture.

Your Opportunity:

The Run Research Team Run Performance Intern will gain hands-on experience of product research from the leading running brand Brooks Running Company. The primary responsibilities of the intern will be to assist in biomechanical data collection and processing for the Run Research Team. The protocols will include but not be limited to biomechanical, mechanical, and metabolic testing. The Intern will also gain knowledge on how the lab influences and impacts the design and development of running shoes and apparel.

Your Responsibilities may include:
• Analyze mechanical and biomechanical data in Matlab and Visual 3D and prepare scientific reports based on findings.
• Assist Biomechanists in the collection and processing of human subject data.
• Perform mechanical testing on plaque materials and shoes.
• Use machine shop to create various prototypes and lab equipment.
• Become familiar with running shoe design features and components.
• Develop loyal, engaging relationships with our customers and the Brooks community.
• Become comfortable with in the use of various instruments to collect mechanical, biomechanical and metabolic data.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
• Bachelors with a background in biomechanics, kinesiology, and/or exercise science or an equivalent analytical field and 1 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics of running, biomechanical principles, and running injuries.
• College experience in a biomechanics lab or a lab that involved data collection on human subjects.
• Experience working with 3D Motion Capture equipment.
• Software skills with Matlab and Visual 3D ideal.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication.
• Keen attention to detail in planning, organization and execution of tasks.
