About the Role:

Reporting to the VP Controller on the Finance team the Tax Manager will be responsible for domestic tax and international compliance, audits and planning. The position ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the company’s tax obligations. The successful candidate will work with business units, service providers and other tax professionals in the organization to carry out these responsibilities.

A typical day will include:
• Assisting with quarterly/annual tax provision preparation
• Developing and maintaining a tax compliance calendar for domestic and international income tax returns, including a process for forecasting quarterly cash tax payments
• Coordinating with local tax providers to prepare and file tax returns
• Drafting responses to tax notices Overseeing sales and use tax processes
• Overseeing sales and tax processes
• Monitoring tax laws and implementing strategies to minimize state and local taxes
• Coordinating and assist with one-off tax processes such as 382 studies, Transfer Pricing studies and M&A activity including due diligence and integration

This role is a fit for you if:
• You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Having your CPA and/or JD is preferred
• You have 6-8 years of state and local tax experience with a minimum of 4 years at a CPA firm

About the Role:
Reporting to the VP Controller on the Finance team the Tax Manager will be responsible for domestic tax and international compliance, audits and planning. The position ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the company’s tax obligations. The successful candidate will work with business units, service providers and other tax professionals in the organization to carry out these responsibilities.
