The role
• Provide personal care assistance with daily living

As a civilian GP within our Health Centre you will:
• Provide General Practice consultations, referrals and health screenings
• Conduct occupational medical and health assessments for all defence personnel to determine employability and deployability
• Provide appropriate medical advice to Base and Unit Commanders regarding employability and deployability of individual members
• Provide advice and support to Base and Unit Commanders on general medical issues such as injury prevention, preventive medicine, disease control and hygiene

• Represent HI project portfolio interests in Bupa APAC project finance and governance forums.
• Support HI project due diligence across the investment estimation and financial return of projects
• Liaise with stakeholders and FBP’s to ensure tracking of expenditures against project approvals, as well as formulation of detailed variance analysis and risks and opportunities identification arising from changes in prioritizations and/or timelines.
• Liaise with stakeholders and FBP’s to ensure review and update of project Net Realisable Benefits
• Engage with HI FP&A team to ensure the current benefits outlook is reflected in the monthly HI Risks & Opportunities schedule, latest forecasts and embedding in the Annual Operating Plan.
• Monitor investment expenditure to provide accurate and timely reporting of spend commitments versus approved amounts for Capex and Opex whilst proactively drawing out risks and opportunities across the portfolio and managing the capitalisation process.
• Work with all stakeholders to drive a step-change in Project Finance quality, governance and reporting across HI.

About the opportunity:

Joining Bupa in a Senior Project Manager / Digital Delivery Manager 12 month contract role you will be responsible for leading end-to-end teams to deliver technology-enabled products, initiatives, and services. Role Overview:As a Project Manager within Bupa Global you’ll lead, manage and co-ordinate projects to deliver agreed business outcomes. You’ll deliver business change, technology and information systems that meet identified business requirements.
The role will require collaboration with stakeholders at varying levels up to Executive Team level and with teams both internal and external to Bupa Global throughout the change delivery lifecycle. The role is central to the success of delivery in helping to achieve our strategic goals and realise the benefits from our investment in change. What you’ll do:
• Overall responsibility for leading, managing and motivating a cross functional project team
• Direct accountability and responsibility for all aspects (Change, Business, Technology, Communications) delivery of allocated projects
• Actively develops and maintains own business and technical expertise
• In conjunction with Group Procurement, negotiates service levels and specifications with senior customer management and suppliers.
• Contributes to, and ensures the set-up of, appropriate contracts for the supply of products and/or services.
• Is responsible for the day-to-day relationship with suppliers (including off-shore resources). Ensuring appropriate monitoring of contracts and Master Services Agreements, authorising or initiating any actions that may be required.
What you’ll bring:
• Extensive knowledge of project management processes and techniques, ideally within a regulated FS or insurance environment.
• A proven track record of project management, particularly in the application of Transformation and Change projects.
• Proficient in change management, implementing business change into a complex regulatory environment.
• Demonstrable proficiency in leading and motivating teams in a complex organisation.
• Proficient at cost management, including production of business proposals and managing significant budgets.
• The ability to develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders

How will I help?
Key accountabilities include:
• Develop and maintain capability of members within Bupa’s Mental Health Network, ensuring they feel valued, upskilled, and engaged, including the coordination of the delivery of full and refresher Mental Health First Aid courses to eligible Bupa employees.
• Develop, and support the implementation of mental health related learning which is required to be completed by all Bupa Leaders.
• Develop awareness campaigns, toolkits and resources on specific mental health and wellbeing topics to support the greater Viva Wellbeing Program, and Psychological Health and Wellbeing team offering.
• In collaboration with the Strategic Projects Lead, contribute to the development and resourcing and execution, of small to large scale health and wellbeing initiatives derived from the Viva Wellbeing Program or led by the Psychological Health and Wellbeing Team.
• Assist the Strategic Projects Lead to research and conduct external benchmarking to provide contemporary and relevant data and insights, essential for the design of robust wellbeing strategies and initiatives.

About the Role:

As a Nurse Coordinator in Richmond Health Centre you will provide clinical and professional leadership in the Health Centre including:
• Supporting operational capability by preparing members for global employability/deployment and exercises
• Coordinating and participating in vaccination parades, sick parade, triage of members within a Primary Health Care Team model, Staff development, Performance appraisals
• Overseeing and facilitating complex situations including clinical, managerial, and educational contexts e.g. assistance with emergency medical responses, clinical review, and complaint resolution
• Investigation of clinical incidents to include review and corrective actions in conjunction with health center management
• Review and update of department SOPs
• Assist in coordinating roster, staffing levels and supervision of the Ward nursing and Defence Force staff, to enable the provision of high standard of health care
• Oversight of department rosters and coordination of staff allocation

About you:

To thrive in this role, you will be an inherently collaborative worker who enjoys working with people of all backgrounds to achieve common goals. You will also enjoy the fast paced and problem-solving elements this role will bring.

You will:
• be an adept relationship-builder with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to provide regular coaching and feedback to your team
• be a proven leader who is resilient and adaptable to changing healthcare environments
• show an innate ability to connect processes, systems and people with the big picture while making sure all the detail is in place
• leadership and management experience is essential – you may have been acting in a team leader or 2IC role and are ready to make the move permanently or you might be wanting to further develop your leadership skills with a global health leader

You will also:
• Be an Australian Citizen
• Have at least 5 years’ experience as a Div 1 RN
• Have full AHPRA registration
• Previous Defence experience will be highly regarded
• Proficient in computer operation systems in healthcare as ADF uses multiple platforms for electronic healthcare records
• Ideally possess post Graduate Qualifications in Nursing or Health Management or working toward same.
