Forbes is hiring an Insights Manager within our Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will join a... growing team that champions data throughout the organization.

This role will manage a team of analysts and support a wide range of groups across the company using advanced insights and analytics. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with excellent communication skills and has a background in data and analytics.

Responsibilities:
• Develop, train, and supervise a team of analysts
• Oversee delivery of insights and reports to stakeholders and leadership
• Ensure accuracy across dashboards, reports, and other deliverables and develop comprehensive review processes
• Develop and maintain relationships with leaders across the organization
• Oversee reporting and project requests; manage prioritization and resources
• Develop best practices for cross-functional knowledge transfer and documentation
• Advance the BI Insights team towards predictive analytics
• Collaborate with the rest of the BI organization to develop and maintain internal consistency and long-term scalability
• Play an active role in the growth of Forbes' Data and Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE)

The ideal candidate:
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Prior experience managing analysts, strong analytical skills, and passion for working in data
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in Digital Analytics, experience managing direct reports
• Experience using analytics and data to contribute to organizational goals and growth efforts
• Strong SQL skills (experience with BigQuery strongly preferred) and familiarity with python preferred
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (preferably Looker)
• Experience using Web Analytics (Google Analytics is strongly preferred)
• Prior experience in the media industry preferred
• Strong Excel skills, with knowledge in advanced formulas and interactive charting
• Attention to detail and able to juggle multiple responsibilities
• Ability to self-motive and work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to champion adoption of new and evolving technologies and toolsets
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly in communicating complex outcomes to both technical and non-technical audiences

The annual base salary range for this role is $135,000 - $145,000

• Manage the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, monthly reports, and variance reports.

• Perform property inspections on a regular basis; make recommendations to maintain/enhance the asset.
