The Officer maintains expertise in CAF America’s services, private client trends, international grantmaking, and donor advised fund regulations. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of private clients with a clear and detailed understanding of each client's needs and philanthropic goals.
• Engage with donors to develop strong relationships and deliver a best in class philanthropic experience.
• Provide a variety of DAF services to donors including advising on international philanthropy trends, changing foreign charity landscape, and opportunities to increase impact.
• Maintain expertise in DAF regulations, high net worth individual philanthropy, philanthropic trends around the globe, and foreign charity needs.
• Collaborate with grants services team members for charity validations for your funds. Must be able to clearly communicate current foreign charity requirements, validation timelines, and any validation-specific information to donors.
• Oversee donor correspondence, validation updates, invoicing, and grant recommendations while working closely with the support associate who leads the tracking of fund transaction data.
• Work closely with Associate team members and provide mentorship and supervision for fund-related data management work.
• Responsible for regular and accurate fund forecasting, including budget projections, based upon fund activity, fund trends, and knowledge of donors’ future plans.
• Maintain a growth mindset and regularly participate in educational opportunities focusing on philanthropy, client management, grantmaking regulations, and foreign charity regulations.
• Maintain knowledge of, and puts into practice, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing practices and regulations.
• Assist with validation of charities through expenditure responsibility, as needed.

Summary:

This role will play an important part in measuring and reporting our team’s effectiveness and performance both on our campaigns and in quarterly and yearly goals.

• Collate quantitative and qualitative data points (e.g., engagement rates, reach, etc.) that measure the performance of our campaigns and progress towards key performance indicators. Provide analysis and identify areas of opportunity for future initiatives.
