The Position: The Senior Director... University IT Experience is a working manager responsible for planning, implementing, and administering IT client support services campus-wide. The Sr. Director is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing the 24 x 7 service model for Cal State LA. This virtual and physical model includes the existing ITS Help Desk and Open Access Labs and new distributed client service centers. The Senior Director of University IT Experience oversees a new unit that will enable every member of the Cal State LA community to easily find and use critical day-to-day tools so they can collaborate as global citizens. The University IT Experience team provides a single point of contact for client service and support requests for IT Services. Leading through supervisors, the Sr. Director oversees 30 full-time employees, 20 student workers, as well as computing equipment and technologies. This position manages directors, assistant directors managers, supervisors, staff, and student workers to assure accountability and stewardship of department resources in compliance with departmental goals and objectives. This position critically impacts the entire campus user community for centrally maintained, critical administrative, academic, instructional, and research services that utilize our campus network, IT infrastructure, and our campus data center. This group works collaboratively with service providers throughout IT and other partner departments to provide quality support to faculty, staff, students, and the university community. This position is part of the IT leadership team mentoring and coaching teams, developing strategic plans and policies, budgeting, and resource allocation decisions, that support the mission and strategic goals of Cal State LA.

Required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems or equivalent. Minimum of 7 years of IT experience in a large complex organization. The incumbent must have experience in consultation, determining customer needs, and identifying solutions; leading a customer-facing IT support organization serving as an escalation point for more complex end-user IT technical support-related issues; in areas of budget administration; personnel administration (e.g., supervision, professional development, technical training, and performance evaluation); vendor/product evaluation, selection, and implementation; communications/network/e-mail services; strategic and tactical planning; demonstrated supervisory experience that includes managing and motivating staff in an environment with concurrent tasks, changing priorities and resources, as well as utilizing work and project plans to meet deadlines; and experience with dashboards, setting Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or reports that track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics. The incumbent must have strong knowledge of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes; and of and experience with ITSM systems, including incident management, change management, and remote assistance tools. The incumbent must have demonstrated problem-solving skills; scoped solutions based on knowledge of available resources and timelines; excellent customer service skills; excellent oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to effectively convey and explain information and tactfully deal with diverse people, situations, and ideas; and strong analytical skills. Duties:
The Clinical Coordinator will assist in the coordination and management of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) clinical programming, staff development and student internships and will provide clinical and supervisory oversight as expected of a staff psychotherapist. Under the general direction of the CAPS Director, the Clinical Coordinator is responsible for: providing guidance, training and oversight of the clinical staff; onboarding new counselors; training and oversight of student trainees/interns; providing support for CARE Team meetings and referrals; and, assisting in the development and implementation of internal procedures to ensure efficient and effective counseling services. This position also assists the CAPS department in promoting the health and wellbeing of all Cal State L.A. students and the campus community. The Clinical Coordinator ensures the team provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive and enhance the quality of campus life. Further, the incumbent will oversee the coordination of various CAPS projects and programs as assigned by the director.

In addition, the Clinical Coordinator will assume regular psychological counseling responsibilities that include providing a full range of clinical, consultation, and outreach services. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, provision of the following: individual, group, and couples mental health assessment; counseling, psychotherapy, and case management; emergency assessment and crisis intervention; tele therapy; prevention education; classroom, group, organization, and department presentations, and workshops; referrals; individual, organizational and group consultation; treatment/intervention planning and follow through; timely documentation of case notes and reports in electronic health records; referrals to and consulting with other professionals on- and off-campus; participation in CAPS peer review and other activities of the SHC Continuous Quality Improvement program; attending CAPS and other departmental meetings as assigned; participation at professional trainings, workshops and/or conferences as assigned; participation in other assigned SHC and campus committees and activities; licensure maintenance; may be required to train and mentor peer educators. Program and Position Description:
The Upward Bound Program provides a comprehensive Academic Year Program and a rigorous Summer

from the Los Angeles and Pasadena Unified School Districts. Under the supervision of the Program Director,

the Assistant Director will provide leadership in the planning and implementation of all program components

Program (EEP) is a leader in preparing young, highly capable

Honors Academy each summer; organizing and running the Honors

year; serving as the primary academic counselor for EEP students
and maintaining consistent communication with students and their
parents within established FERPA and University guidelines;
planning and implementing activities to support the academic and
social development of the EEP students; coordinating the whole
group educational experiences offered in HNRS 1000 to each entering
Fall cohort, establishing and maintaining positive and effective
relationships with the University campus community at all levels,
as well as external community organizations; maintaining an alumni
network and collaborating with the Honors College Director to help
drive friendraising and fundraising activities with University
Advancement and Public Affairs. The EEP Director also collaborates
with CCOE faculty to interview, hire, and supervise the EEP
Graduate Counseling Intern for each academic year. The Director of
the Early Entrance Program serves as an Ex Officio member of the
Honors College Steering Committee, and in that capacity has primary
