The Advancement Services Team’s mission is to provide essential infrastructure to the organization by collecting, organizing, maintaining, analyzing and circulating information as a strategic partner in support of advancement initiatives. The Data and Gifts Coordinator will be working with the Advancement Services Team and will report to the Director, Advancement Services. The position will be responsible for helping to maintain data integrity and gift processes for CAm, in coordination with the Advancement Services Team, as well as with other members of the CAm team.

Key Responsibilities
• Support gifts process by entering, processing, and tracking gifts to CAm, including gifts via different vehicles (i.e., cash, checks, credit cards, direct debit, wire transfers)
• Gather and maintain gifts documentation, sorted by batch, to ease in reconciliation and allocation questions.
• Prepare tax receipts and gift acknowledgment letters.
• Respond to donor inquiries by phone and email in a timely manner.
• Digital records maintenance including entering new contacts into database, and confirming biographic, employment, education, and contact information for existing contacts.
• Handle returned mail by processing records updates and tracking returns for constituent address management.
• Collaborate with team to ensure data integrity in coding throughout database.
• Assist with other Advancement Services and Finance and Operations projects as needed.

Candidate Requirements
• Experience with databases and/or knowledge of the general principles of relational databases and an interest in learning their real-world applications.
• Demonstrate ability with Excel and/or spreadsheets and is comfortable with numbers and data.
• The ideal candidate should be able to work cooperatively and communicate in a professional manner with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• The individual should possess the ability to work both independently and as a part of the team, must have excellent organizational skills, very good project management skills, great attention to detail, and be able to work with deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
• A bachelor’s degree is required for this position.

Work Environment
• Must have the ability to comfortably work in an open area with a moderate level of background noise.
• CAm is currently operating on a hybrid work schedule of three days in the office and two days working remotely.
• CAm requires that all staff members be fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination is required.

The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum.

About the role:
The Institutional Account Manager is part of the Americas Higher Education Sales team which is responsible for securing adoptions of Cambridge course materials in colleges and universities in the Americas. This role is one of the keys to our digital transformation and is responsible for building relationships and creating opportunities that will drive institutional sales of Cambridge Higher Education content and courses in colleges and universities in the Americas. Their primary responsibility will be to seed the market and generate leads for Cambridge's existing and emerging institutional sales models, including inclusive access, equitable access, bulk digital sales, and the Cambridge library model. In addition, the Institutional Accounts Manager will help shape and implement the digital strategy for the Americas within the context of the wider Academic HE strategy.

You will be ideal for this part if you are a degree-holder in a relevant field of study or have 5 years of demonstrated experience in a related role. You will make a strong candidate if you have a working knowledge in learning management systems to build online courses, authoring content both natively and through rapid authoring tools, with the ability to critically evaluate different solutions and select the most appropriate technology for the task at hand. Ability to support the creation of digital content from start to finish (storyboarding to product delivery) and with excellent IT skills, including Microsoft office or Mac equivalent are also important. You will also be an ideal candidate if you have an experience with cross-functional project delivery teams and project management systems, and working within a content management system.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of:

Qualifications:
• At least 10+ years' experience in web strategy development, and 5+ years in the education industry
• Significant experience of developing strategy and running a public website of significant size from strategy development, to execution, and management.
• Proven experience with using customer research to inform strategy and execution plans

Experience in Google Analytics and Adwords a plus
• Experience of using website content management systems and able to adapt and research new ways/systems as need.
• Understanding of best practice design principles for mobile and ipad
• Experience of accessibility requirements in website development
• Understanding of HTML and CSS
• Experience in developing responsive design websites
• Prefer experience with Product Development/Management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Proven ability to work effectively within a complex internal environment
