As the Senior Planner Canada, Direct-to-Consumer you will report into the Retail Planning Manager. This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, California.

About the Job
• Help build financial plans; cover all store and sales KPIs.
• Balance channel, brand, and company needs.
• Develop financial forecasts in-season and lead regular financial conversations with a diverse set of business partners. Help craft a narrative and articulate risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with merchants to develop consumer and category segment productivity targets within an assortment architecture.
• Build and present bottom-up sales and inventory plans. Reconcile against the tops-down financial plans to inform financial and inventory decisions.
• Align with partners to drive in-season tactical activities in execution of seasonal strategies: promotional strategies, markdown management, etc.
• Work with allocation partners to ensure optimal in-season allocation, replenishment, consumption, and receipt flow.
• Manage in-season profitability to achieve or exceed goals and submissions.
• Identify opportunities in and improve processes and tools.
• Take ownership of additional projects that support channel and company projects.
• Lead programs across all DTC and works across the channel matrix with their "company hat" to ensure inventory profitability for all.

About You
• Bachelor's degree; a combination of college education and related work experience may be used as a substitute.
• 5+ years of planning experience, global omnichannel brand preferred.
• Thoughtful analytic abilities; can use analysis to tell simple stories.
• Experience with retail math, merchandising financials, and profitability KPIs.
• Advanced Excel skills (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and ability to learn new digital tools quickly. Experience with SAS merchandise planning an asset.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $66,500- $110,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.

What role will you play?

You will participate in the full execution of advisory, capital raising and principal transactions. Your work will be centered around the pursuit of new business opportunities and executing existing client advisory mandates, as well as servicing existing portfolio investments including debt and equity positions.

Salary range for this position: $175,000 - $225,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
