• Track podcast metrics and create regular reports.
• Maintain a database of freelancers, guests, and colleagues.

Duties include interfacing with freelancers, influencers and other content providers, editing and uploading a substantial quantity of varied types of content, managing user feedback, emailing newsletters, providing data-based input on strategy and design, as well as creating your own articles, devotionals, news stories, podcasts or videos (Reels, TikToks).
Ideal Qualifications
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a degree in Online Media, Journalism, English, Communications or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years experience managing editorial/web projects, even at the college/internship level.
• Strong, conversational understanding of Evangelical Christian culture and the topics, issues and personalities shaping it, as well as familiarity with our Christian audience’s interests, behavior and values
• Solid writing and editing skills, and experience writing to deadline. Successful candidates will be asked to complete an editorial test.
• Experience with and interest in podcasts, short-form video, interviews and other forms of non-text-based media is preferred
• Experience with graphic design and photoshopping preferred
• Data-driven (Chartbeat, Google Analytics/GA4, CMS reporting) approach to decision making
• Innovation, creativity, a strong work ethic and ability to operate productively in both team and individual environments
• Marketing and social media experience a plus
• SWN is part of a publicly-traded company dealing in faith-based content, so a comfort with both corporate and religious communities is essential
Please Note
• This is a content creation position, with some technical training on our Content Management System (CMS); familiarity with online operations, software, mobile sites and social media apps is expected
• Our offices are located in Richmond, Virginia, but telecommuting is an option
