Job Description:

The Carlson School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Clark
University invites applications for a one-year, full-time visiting
faculty position (open rank) to oversee Introductory Chemistry
laboratory sections and teach a non-majors science course for the
academic year of 2023-2024, starting in August 2023. We seek a
passionate educator who will be responsible for managing the
laboratory sections, supervising the graduate TAs, and presenting
pre-lab lectures.

Requirements:

A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field by the date of
appointment is required. Teaching experience in Introductory and/or
Organic chemistry laboratories is a plus. Those interested in
developing their careers as chemistry educators are encouraged to
apply. Mentoring opportunities for the candidate in undergraduate
teaching and research will be integrated with this position.

Job Description:

The Department of Computer Science at Clark University invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor position to begin Fall 2023 semester. This is a full time non-tenure line indefinitely renewable position based upon satisfactory performance.

The primary role of teaching faculty members at Clark encompasses maintaining an active teaching program, curriculum development, student advising, and service. Teaching faculty are key contributors to the academic mission of the university, that is to prepare students to meet the challenges of a complex and rapidly changing society. At Clark, we value commitment to excellence in traditional academic disciplines as well as innovation in exploring questions that cross disciplinary boundaries. The Department of Computer Science values and promotes interdisciplinary collaborations. Several opportunities exist for development of interdisciplinary coursework with programs across the university; examples of these include the School of Business, School of Geography, the Becker School of Design and Technology, and the Department of International Development, Community, and Environment. Job Description:

The Education Department invites applications for a position in the Adam Institute for Urban Teaching and School Practice for an Associate Professor of Practice in secondary English education. We seek a candidate with background knowledge in English literacy education, adolescent/youth literacies, critical pedagogical practices, and culturally sustaining pedagogies. The successful candidate must have earned a doctorate by August 2023 in English Education, English, or a closely related field such as Literacy Education or Curriculum and Instruction and have a minimum of three years of secondary school experience teaching ethnic, cultural, and linguistically diverse urban youth. In addition, the candidate must have prior experience in teacher preparation education, mentoring pre-service and in-service teachers in urban schools, and/or work in partnership with university, public school teachers, and community residents in order to foster equitable student achievement in English and literacy.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Expertise in teacher preparation practices, critical literacies, multilingual literacies, critical race theory, and/or teaching students with special needs.
• Experience teaching in undergraduate and/or graduate settings, or community education partnerships.

The candidate will join a faculty team dedicated to teacher education that integrates school-community partnership in an urban neighborhood, and works in solidarity with youth, teachers, and community. We will value a candidate that can demonstrate the ability to build trusting, long-term relationships with colleagues, teachers, youth, and community members. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the diversification of the department and university more broadly through their work and engagement on diversity, access, and equity.

Responsibilities will include:
• Teaching method courses focused on the practice of secondary English and literacy education
• Direct guidance and mentoring of a cohort of Master of Arts in Teaching students as they develop their secondary English practice during a full time two-semester teaching practicum internship
• Supporting partner school English teachers and alumni in their pedagogical practice and professional development
• Contributing to the ongoing building of interdisciplinary synergies within the education department and the wider university community
• Option to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in related ELA areas.

Responsible for the University's end-user computing
infrastructure to ensure a reliable and secure computing
environment for the Clark community. This includes design,
acquisition, implementation, maintenance, and third tier support of
end-user computing resources.

Major Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise a team of Endpoint Administrators; provide

Requirements:

Reporting to the Associate Director of Planning and Capital
Projects (ADPCP) the Capital Project Manager II (CPM-II) is
responsible for assisting in planning and coordination for various
space needs and will oversee construction related projects ranging
from $10K-$10M. The Capital Project Manager is a Facilities
Management representative that must interact and build positive
relationships with the entire Clark community.

Major Responsibilities:
• Function as the key point of contact on assigned projects,
establishing and maintaining project structure and meeting
cadences, working directly with clients on the University side
(faculty, staff, administrators) and external partners, with
day-to-day responsibility for adherence to budget and schedule
• As directed, provide turnkey project management services from

Requirements:
