Overview of the role:

The Business Development Representative role is an entry-level position that gives you a great opportunity to get started at a truly global organization. We're growing fast and invite you to grow with us! Business Development is a critical component of the sales organization at Cloud Academy. As the "tip of the spear," you will open new sales conversations and create sales opportunities for our Account Executives. You will be on the front lines of our business and as such, you must be comfortable cold calling, talking to strangers, communicating our value proposition, and building our sales pipeline!

What awesome stuff you'll do:
• Cold outbound calls and emails to prospective customers
• Schedule initial discovery/qualifications calls with prospective customers
• Communicate to arm Account Executives for success (i.e. insights and intelligence about prospective customers) in a timely fashion
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to help inform Demand Generation
• Assist Account Executives with pipeline management and prospect nurturing when appropriate/necessary
Requirements:

We are looking for a professional to handle end-user customer support for Cloud Academy’s B2C and B2B enterprise SaaS customer base. This position must also work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and be able to work under pressure at times, handling various activities and confidential matters with discretion. The individual will be able to exercise good judgment in various situations, with strong written and verbal communication, information technology management, vendor management, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. This position must maintain current technical skills, excellent client service, and a professional demeanor. You should have a conceptual knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platforms and a limitless desire to learn more about technology.

This position reports directly to our Customer Support Manager and works closely with our US-based enterprise Customer Success team, our Swiss-based product development team, and our global team of training content creators.

What You’ll Do
• You will work from Monday to Friday
• Be the face of Cloud Academy with our customers, delivering excellent interactions over email, live chat, and online voice channels.
• Support users of Cloud Academy’s web app, mobile applications, and Hands-on Labs (actual training environments on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform like the ones you see here).
• Evaluate user needs, collect customer feedback, research and identify technical problems, and work with content, engineering, and product teams to determine workarounds and solutions.
• Participate in weekly product and support meetings using data to help determine priorities for our product and content teams.
• Identify common themes to create platform FAQs and proactively coordinate with our content and engineering teams.

Job requirements:
• Strong track record in customer support for a B2C and B2B Enterprise SaaS product.
• Ability to grasp and explain complex technical concepts and techniques across multiple platforms.
• Understanding of AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform service offerings and a strong desire to learn more
• An innate sense of urgency to get things done the right way.
• Ability to act independently and hold stakeholders across the company accountable for deliverables.
• Experience and prudence in dealing with sensitive data and systems (e.g., handling e-commerce disputes).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Experience working with a ticketing system
• A dedicated home office space with high-speed and reliable internet, a computer, and a headset

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As the Account Based Marketing Manager, you will take a leading role in helping grow and scale our ABM program, a primary piece of our go-forward strategy to help us achieve our revenue goals. This will include planning/launching marketing campaigns, measuring their impact, and partnering closely with the sales team.

Responsibilities:
• Strategize, execute, and optimize a ABM strategy to help achieve sales goals, with a key focus on attracting new business.
• Develop and deploy multi-channel ABM campaigns, including crafting strategy, aligning internal teams, and executing
• Apply an experimentation mindset to ABM campaigns to drive, test, learn, and optimize
• Iterate and optimize campaigns based on data and analysis of ABM campaigns and tactics
• Collaborate with ABM leadership team (sales and marketing interlock) to select key accounts
• Provide ongoing reporting, campaign insights and pacing toward goal to stakeholders
• Work closely with marketing ops and business ops to support high-performance ABM marketing tools and integrations
• Partner closely with AEs to ensure strong marketing and sales alignment

Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in account based marketing or similar field, with the desire to learn more about account based marketing strategy
• Experience in Account Based Marketing for New Logo acquisition in the Enterprise B2B space
• Highly organized and efficient with the ability to develop and execute against an evolving plan
• Be bold, willing to try new things, and experiment on the edge!
• Ability to clearly communicate new ideas, products, and campaigns to both internal and external stakeholders
• Team player who is able to work both collaboratively and autonomously
• Strong project management, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to achieve results working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams
• CRM/marketing automation background nice to have, preferably Salesforce and Hubspot
• Proactive self-starter, demonstrating high initiative and critical thinking
• Proven ability to think strategically, but with exceptional attention to detail in execution
