About The Role

The Revenue Controller will be responsible for all aspects of revenue accounting, with primary emphasis on compliance with US GAAP and supporting the company’s sales function.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, notably ASC 606.
• Responsible for accounting and internal controls around revenue and sales incentives.
• Leading the Finance function’s support of the sales team.
• Ownership of management reporting related to revenue and sales incentives.
• Ownership of monthly, quarterly and year end close processes around revenue.
• People development, mentoring and building strong teams.
• Accurate financial reporting, including the communication of key metrics and KPIs to senior leadership.
• Writing, reviewing and presenting technical accounting memos.
• Ensure timely and accurate client invoicing.
• Design, implement and monitor effective internal controls around revenue.
• Assisting with the annual external audit, including preparation of revenue audit workpapers and communications with auditors about revenue and sales incentives.
• Compile and present actionable revenue information to others in the organization.
• Partner with finance and business operations team to continuously improve accounting processes.
• Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and senior leadership.
• Lead implementation of revenue reporting improvements in NetSuite and SalesForce.

Required:
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting.
• Six to ten years of accounting leadership experience.
• 3+ years experience as a revenue recognition leader.
• Remote revenue team management experience.
• CPA certification.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience, preferably as an external auditor.
• Extensive experience in and knowledge of ASC 606.
• 2+ years using NetSuite, and SalesForce.
• Lives in the Eastern Time Zone.
• Occasional travel will be required, estimated not to exceed 10%.

Preferred:
• Public company experience.
• Designing, monitoring and testing Sarbanes-Oxley level internal controls.
• SalesForce administration experience.

CloudBees is hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead our Productivity Engineering solutions! WHAT YOU'LL DO

As an Engineering Manager, you will be the functional management point of contact for your assigned staff of 8-12 engineers. You will manage and lead an engineering team comprising front-end, back-end, and full-stack software engineers.
• Serve as an escalation point for issues, concerns, conflicts.
• Continuously promote the efficiency, effectiveness, and happiness of engineers.
• Ensure engineering team goals are accomplished effectively and in accordance with all necessary guidelines.
• Coach, mentor, guide, and develop team members to motivate, retain, and grow them within the organization.

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering with high proficiency in problem-solving.
• 4+ years of experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to production.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field

The Senior account executive role is responsible for growing our company revenue by effectively managing and upselling existing customer accounts and convincing new customers about CloudBees benefits.
