Job Description:
As an intern on the Internal Audit (IA) team, you will support the IA team in executing all aspects of Cloudflare's Operational Audits. You will also support the execution of Business Process Controls testing for SOX controls deemed reliant by our external auditors.
What you'll do
• Assist in executing the Internal Audit plan under the supervision of an IA Manager. This includes operational audit planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, issues validation, and reporting.
• Execute operational audits in accordance with department and professional standards, and complete assignments timely in an efficient manner
• Help design testing procedures relevant to risk and test objectives
• Identify and document operational audit processes, risks, and controls
• Prepare audit workpapers and reports with direct supervision
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and business owners
• Execute test of design and operating effectiveness for reliant SOX controls
• Document all Operational Audit & SOX work in the AuditBoard tool
• Report to an IA Manager
• Be assigned a mentor to guide you through the internship and help with career goals.
• Make friends across the company through our Buddy Program, Employee Resource Group (ERG) programs, and Activity Groups (Cat or dog lovers, we've got communities for you! @Catflare @Doggos).
• Present your project to the entire company at the end of the internship.

About the department
Cloudflare's CIO organization has an Enterprise Applications Team that operates our enterprise systems end-to-end, providing process cohesiveness across the functional areas. This enables our Cloudflare internal teams to operate efficiently and enable our customers and partners to do business with us.

What you'll do
Cloudflare is looking for a Salesforce certified administrator with Service Cloud experience to join our GTM team. In this role, you will work closely with our internal Business support and service stakeholders to deliver a world class application experience. Based on a deep understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing the application.
• Provide development expertise and deliver high value Salesforce application solutions supporting our support, service and success business needs.

About the position
Finance process transformation manager cultivates partnerships between Finance and the business and spearheads key initiatives at the company level.
This Manager will help socialize a clear vision for the future state operating model, advocating a case for change, and driving alignment and organization through active project management.
What you'll do
Partner with all senior Finance Leaders to align with the business strategy
Partner with Finance teams to modernize processes through digital finance transformation
Establish targets, program and project prioritization, and speed to benefit realization
Provide oversight, and control of program portfolios established to manage finance improvement efforts
Partner with business leads and sponsors to determine appropriate ways to navigate complex issues and change management agendas that Finance can help shape

About the department
Cloudflare's Research Team is involved with building the future of Cloudflare by tackling strategic projects that have a large impact on Cloudflare systems and the Internet at large. Our focus is on solving difficult problems in security, performance, and privacy at scale using cryptographic tools. We are launching new investigations in network architectures and protocols, distributed systems, and measurement. This involves systems engineering, open source software development, protocol design, implementation of primitives, with lots of performance evaluation alongside. We make cutting edge research contributions in-house, as well as in collaboration with academia, Internet standards organizations like the IETF, and more!

What you'll do
Cloudflare's Research Team is solves difficult problems in security, performance, and privacy at scale using cryptographic tools. We are increasingly focussed network architectures and protocols, distributed systems, measurement and performance evaluation. This involves systems engineering, open source software development, protocol design, implementation of primitives, with lots of measurement alongside. We make cutting edge research contributions in-house, as well as in collaboration with academia, Internet standards organizations like the IETF, and more!
Successful candidates will be matched to suitable projects. We also welcome novel proposals and ideas that can help to inform or build a better Internet (in the form of a max 200 word proposal).
Research Program Areas
Cloudflare research has four current program areas. We're looking for interns with interest or expertise in one of these areas.
Network-layer privacy
This program is about reducing or eliminating metadata on the Internet that can be used to learn about user behavior online when viewed by an unauthorized party. This work helps upgrade Internet protocols so that metadata (hostnames -- via SNI, IP addresses, or fingerprintable data) can no longer be easily extracted from Internet packets. Example projects: Encrypted Client Hello (ECH), website fingerprinting protection, dynamic DNS and addressing agility, and connection coalescing.
Application-layer privacy
This program is about reducing or eliminating personal data at the application layer: applying innovative techniques based on splitting data between parties to make personal data superfluous or less identifiable so it isn't needed in the delivery of powerful products and services both at Cloudflare and throughout the Internet ecosystem. Example projects: Cryptographic Attestation of Personhood, privacy-preserving analytics, Privacy Pass, and password-authenticated key exchange.
Internet and Network Measurement
This program is about measuring and mapping the components that are present on the Internet and how they interact with traffic. Cloudflare is among the most connected networks on the Internet. Work in this program measures the network to understand how it is evolving with an eye on helping improve availability, security, and performance. Example projects: BGP routing and security, IP address dynamics, denial-of-service, characterising security of online services.
Future-proofing the Internet
The Internet is evolving, both politically and technologically. This program is about building technologies and tools to anticipate the challenges that we anticipate when looking past the medium-term horizon. Example projects: deploying post-quantum cryptography through Cloudflare's internal network, and building a geography-aware key management system.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
Enrolled in a PhD or equivalent graduate research program in Computer Science or related STEM field (exceptional MSc or BSc may be considered with commensurate experience and evidence of contributions)
Must have proven record of research, standards, or equivalent peer-reviewed publication in a reputable venue in your field
Have or able to obtain authorization to work in the country where the position will be located (currently US, CA, UK, EU in countries where Cloudflare has offices, and CH).
Additional Requirements
Advanced knowledge or experience with at least one of the following:
Authentication protocols, applied cryptography, PKI and SSL/TLS
Computer networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, QUIC, etc.)
Measurement and performance evaluation for network and computer systems
Operating systems, distributed systems, caching and storage
Also,
Proven track record of independently driving projects in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills on both technical and non-technical issues
Bonus Points:
Proficiency in the following languages - Go, Rust, Javascript, C and/or Lua
Some specialization in cryptography
Experience with high throughput/low latency real-time systems and/or content delivery networks

What you'll do
Cloudflare's Research Team is solves difficult problems in security, performance, and privacy at scale using cryptographic tools. We are increasingly focussed network architectures and protocols, distributed systems, measurement and performance evaluation. This involves systems engineering, open source software development, protocol design, implementation of primitives, with lots of measurement alongside. We make cutting edge research contributions in-house, as well as in collaboration with academia, Internet standards organizations like the IETF, and more!
Successful candidates will be matched to suitable projects. We also welcome novel proposals and ideas that can help to inform or build a better Internet (in the form of a max 200 word proposal).
Research Program Areas
Cloudflare research has four current program areas. We're looking for interns with interest or expertise in one of these areas.
Network-layer privacy
This program is about reducing or eliminating metadata on the Internet that can be used to learn about user behavior online when viewed by an unauthorized party. This work helps upgrade Internet protocols so that metadata (hostnames -- via SNI, IP addresses, or fingerprintable data) can no longer be easily extracted from Internet packets. Example projects: Encrypted Client Hello (ECH), website fingerprinting protection, dynamic DNS and addressing agility, and connection coalescing.
Application-layer privacy
This program is about reducing or eliminating personal data at the application layer: applying innovative techniques based on splitting data between parties to make personal data superfluous or less identifiable so it isn't needed in the delivery of powerful products and services both at Cloudflare and throughout the Internet ecosystem. Example projects: Cryptographic Attestation of Personhood, privacy-preserving analytics, Privacy Pass, and password-authenticated key exchange.
Internet and Network Measurement
This program is about measuring and mapping the components that are present on the Internet and how they interact with traffic. Cloudflare is among the most connected networks on the Internet. Work in this program measures the network to understand how it is evolving with an eye on helping improve availability, security, and performance. Example projects: BGP routing and security, IP address dynamics, denial-of-service, characterising security of online services.
Future-proofing the Internet
The Internet is evolving, both politically and technologically. This program is about building technologies and tools to anticipate the challenges that we anticipate when looking past the medium-term horizon. Example projects: deploying post-quantum cryptography through Cloudflare's internal network, and building a geography-aware key management system.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
Enrolled in a PhD or equivalent graduate research program in Computer Science or related STEM field (exceptional MSc or BSc may be considered with commensurate experience and evidence of contributions)
Must have proven record of research, standards, or equivalent peer-reviewed publication in a reputable venue in your field
Have or able to obtain authorization to work in the country where the position will be located (currently US, CA, UK, EU in countries where Cloudflare has offices, and CH).
Additional Requirements
Advanced knowledge or experience with at least one of the following:
Authentication protocols, applied cryptography, PKI and SSL/TLS
Computer networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, QUIC, etc.)

This position will manage a focused set of accounts with 1B in annual revenues and the potential to do 10M ARR with Cloudflare. The Strategic Account team will shape and lead Cloudflare's Go To Market in the F100.

What you'll do
Cloudflare is looking for a highly motivated Strategic Enterprise Account Executives seeking a role with the opportunity to help build a GTM working with the largest companies in North America. This position will manage a focused set of accounts with 1B in annual revenues and the potential to do 10M ARR with Cloudflare. The Strategic Account team will shape and lead Cloudflare's Go To Market in the F100.
We will leverage the strength of all Cloudflare functions to become a strategic partner to our customers and their digital transformation efforts. Our product and services and our methods of engagement will differentiate and delight our customers.
The Strategic AE will interact with both C-level clients and senior Technical Decision makers, utilizing Cloudflare solutions and resources to drive a business partnership focused on joint success with our customers. Success requires consultative, solutions-oriented sales, and customer service skills in addition to intense personal energy and focused activity. A critical factor of achievement in this role is the ability and desire to focus and lead an internal group of constituents to bring their skillset to bear to build solutions and exponentially grow revenue.
The Strategic AE must be expert in identifying business opportunities with customers, developing Strategic Account Plans, driving execution across functional stakeholders, and closing revenue. The SAE should be comfortable engaging in business level outcome conversations with the C-suite, presenting Cloudflare's vision and plan for value creation to all levels, and negotiating win-win scenarios for all parties. The SAE will be accountable to obtaining new business and expansion of Cloudflare wallet-share within existing customers.
The role involves handling multiple accounts and will require high degrees of attention to detail and coordination with customers, partners, and internal resources. Lastly, the SAE should thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative is celebrated and enthusiasm for the possible is expected.
