Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work closely with business process department personnel to gather functional requirements.
• Analyze business functions with sensitivity to process improvement.
• Develop and maintain business and process specifications to support department projects.
• Convey requirements and specifications to IS development groups.
• Participate in solution development and facilitate User Acceptance Testing
• Participate in ALIS/OIPA Support line and resolution of productional issues, including problem policies and cycle errors.
• Design and implement testing strategy and test plans based on system specifications, business requirements or user stories.
• Create test plans with testing scenarios and detailed testing steps.
• Execute test cases and document results as compared to expected results.
• Report testing observations, including documenting software failures.

Position Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, related discipline or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years business experience on cross-functional projects
• Minimum 3 years life insurance or testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications (recommended, but not essential, experience, knowledge, skills, etc.)
• At least 3 years of experience with business processes at an insurance company is preferred.
• Insurance Industry education; LOMA, American College, etc.
