The increased demand for CMD’s products and services has resulted in the need for a Sales and Marketing Support Specialist, who’s role plays a crucial role in helping our sales and... marketing teams achieve their goals.
What You Will Be Doing
The role involves creating and managing written sales correspondence including verifying the accuracy of quotations and proposals, handling order acknowledgments, order specifications, and changes in order specifications. In addition, there may be instances where the position needs to act as a mediator between CMD and customers when the Regional Sales Managers are unavailable. Assists the Corporate Market Manager with implementing marketing strategies and campaigns that promote the organization's products and services.
What Sales and Marketing Support Specialist’s Need for this Position
Must Have:
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of related business-to-business (B2B) marketing experience.
• General understanding of various marketing software, platforms, and best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet, and social media.
• Experience with CRM software and marketing automation tools a plus.
• Basic digital photography & video skills a plus.
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Data entry accuracy.
• Time management, detail oriented, and creative.
• Multitasker - able to handle diverse projects while meeting tight deadlines.
• Must have organizational skills and the ability to develop a strong rapport with internal and external customers.
Essential Sales Duties:
• Maintains standard proposal formats and periodically reviews standard machine descriptions for accuracy and completeness, with assistance from product line managers and product line engineers.
• Assists Regional Sales Managers with generating/formatting customer quotations on a timely basis, as needed.
• Coordinates the order review process for machine orders and internal product development projects.
• Prepares, routes, and distributes approved order acknowledgements, order specifications, change orders internally and externally.
• Ensures that machine pre-ship inspection is completed in a timely manner.
• Serves as liaison between manufacturing, engineering, accounting, and technical services departments to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved, and to maintain timely/accurate communication among departments. Handles customer follow-ups while salespeople are traveling (i.e., order updates, quote follow-ups, etc.).
• Performs all clerical functions: updates customer/prospect database; maintains and organizes customer and prospect files (electronic and hard copy); takes notes in meetings; prepares written correspondence (ex. visa letters of invitation, confidentiality agreements). Assists sales managers, VP of Sales & Marketing, President with PowerPoint presentations, charts, and research, as needed.
• Supports Customer Services Coordinator in preparing for customer visits when necessary.
• Assists RSMs with scheduling demos and communicating demos to the organization.
• Monitors supplies, and orders items for sales area and all other conference rooms as needed.
• Prepares annual holiday card and gift mailing to prospects and customers.
• Recommends improvements to internal department and inter-departmental processes to ensure an efficient sales order processing workflow.
Essential Marketing Duties:
• Tracks effectiveness and measures results of email campaigns and other marketing activities.
• Assists with implementation of internet marketing programs for social media including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and others as identified.
• Assists with online web initiatives, including website content and updates, design, email campaigns, newsletter campaigns and advertising.
• Maintains news rotator on CMD’s intranet, Connect. Creates pages, surveys, lists, other items in SharePoint.
• Assists in organizing events such as customer visits, trade shows, conferences, and webinars.
• Serves as resource for HR by posting jobs, updating website careers page, and sourcing and ordering giveaways for job fairs.
General:
• Participates in internal committees and focus groups as requested and time permits (ex. Events Committee, Safety, Wellness Committee), and occasionally assists in setting up for company functions.
• Visibly supports “lean” and other process improvement activities. Participates in rapid improvement events. Applies continuous improvement practices to one’s job. Supports transition activities, as required. Maintains an open mind throughout the change process. Works with others to continuously fuel improvement throughout the Company.
• Contributes to CMD’s core competencies of Market Intelligence and Product Development by gathering and reporting all relevant information. This includes: customer needs/wants/activities; competitive information; market trends; and new technology trends.

Based in Appleton WI, we are a technology-driven equipment manufacturer in the film converting and alternative energy markets. The increased demand for CMD’s products and services has resulted in the need for a Mechanical Engineer - AES, responsible for the mechanical engineering effort at CMD... requiring close, continuous interaction with electrical engineering. This is an exempt position that may require in excess of a 40-hour week in order to effectively carry out the listed job duties. 10% travel is required.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for engineering standards that are within the established norms of the CNG, Biogas, RNG, Vapor Recovery and Gas Compressor packaging industry and in compliance with the current national and international standards for the care and construction of related machinery and equipment.
• Responsible for the mechanical design of machinery and mechanical systems used on machines, including engineering design calculations.
• Implements product improvement programs and keeps abreast of current technical progress in all related fields of activity.
• Ensures that adequate records of formulae, drawings, process methods, bills of materials and product construction standards are maintained along with adequate records to support patent actions and maintains a daily log for this purpose.
• Directs preparation of progress reports and ensures that all appropriate personnel are kept abreast of mechanical engineering and development activities.
• Prepares and presents papers and reports of a technical nature as required.
• Provides engineering support on company products and supports Technical Service, including travel to customers’ facilities as required.
• Seeks, evaluates and conducts negotiations with vendors with respect to new mechanical engineering systems or proposed machinery components sufficient to carry out desired designs.
• Has a good working knowledge in the use of Solid Works 3D Modeling and AutoCAD.

• 5+ years related experience in the engineer-to-order machinery industry.
• OEM experience with gas compression and piping is a plus

Based in Appleton WI, we are a technology-driven equipment manufacturer in the film converting and alternative energy markets. The increased demand for CMD’s products and services has resulted in the need for a Mechanical Engineer - AES, responsible for the mechanical engineering effort at CMD... requiring close, continuous interaction with electrical engineering. This is an exempt position that may require in excess of a 40-hour week in order to effectively carry out the listed job duties. 10% travel is required.
What You Will Be Doing
You will be responsible for engineering standards that are within the established norms of the CNG, Biogas, RNG, Vapor Recovery and Gas Compressor packaging industry and in compliance with the current national and international standards for the care and construction of related machinery and equipment.
• Responsible for the mechanical design of machinery and mechanical systems used on machines, including engineering design calculations.
• Implements product improvement programs and keeps abreast of current technical progress in all related fields of activity.
• Ensures that adequate records of formulae, drawings, process methods, bills of materials and product construction standards are maintained along with adequate records to support patent actions and maintains a daily log for this purpose.
• Directs preparation of progress reports and ensures that all appropriate personnel are kept abreast of mechanical engineering and development activities.
• Prepares and presents papers and reports of a technical nature as required.
• Provides engineering support on company products and supports Technical Service, including travel to customers’ facilities as required.
• Seeks, evaluates and conducts negotiations with vendors with respect to new mechanical engineering systems or proposed machinery components sufficient to carry out desired designs.
• Has a good working knowledge in the use of Solid Works 3D Modeling and AutoCAD.
• Responsible to mentor Mechanical Designers and Mechanical Co-ops, to assist with their professional development and potential career advancement.
• Visibly supports “lean” and other process improvement activities. Participates in rapid improvement events and applies continuous improvement practices to one’s job.
• Contributes to CMD’s core competencies of Market Intelligence and Product Development by gathering and reporting all relevant information. This includes: competitive information; and new technology trends.
What Mechanical Engineer’s Need for this Position
Must Have:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in the engineering-to-order machinery industry (i.e. compression, HVAC, piping, pumps, packaging machinery manufacturing) is a plus.
• 5+ years related experience in the engineer-to-order machinery industry.
• OEM experience with gas compression and piping is a plus
• Background in machinery design including a basic knowledge of electrical components and control systems.

• Meets with Medical Staff Associates at least once a month to discuss medically related topics. Documents each meeting. Meets with the Center Manager and Compliance Specialist (or designees) during weekly visits to the center. Serves as a member of the Quality Assurance Team. Acts as a liaison between the Corporate or Divisional Medical Director and the Center Medical Staff, which includes preparation of monthly reports and periodic conference calls.
• Responds to questions and phone calls regarding donor suitability for long-term serial plasmapheresis. • Determines donor suitability following adverse reactions in consultation with the Corporate or Divisional Medical Director. Maintains current knowledge of infectious disease markets (i.e. HIV, HBV, HCV, syphilis, etc.)
• May perform Center Physician functions including but not limited to notifying donors of unsuitable test results, performing screening medical evaluations, assessing results of donor screening and laboratory tests to determine a donor’s initial and continued suitability for plasmapheresis, explaining informed consent materials to donors.

Education

• Reviews and signed Medical Staff Associates notebooks weekly, including a review of approximately one out of five screening medical evaluations and unsuitable test result communication.
• Meets with Medical Staff Associates at least once a month to discuss medically related topics. Documents each meeting. Meets with the Center Manager and Compliance Specialist (or designees) during weekly visits to the center. Serves as a member of the Quality Assurance Team. Acts as a liaison between the Corporate or Divisional Medical Director and the Center Medical Staff, which includes preparation of monthly reports and periodic conference calls.
• Responds to questions and phone calls regarding donor suitability for long-term serial plasmapheresis. Responds to calls from and provides instruction to Center Medical Staff with donor suitability questions. Conducts confidential and effective interviews with donors to obtain information in a variety of situations. Interviews donors with positive STS/negative FTA and documents approval to resume donating.
• Maintains confidentiality with respect to employee, donor and center records reviewed during the course of all duties. Responsible for overseeing maintenance of medical supplies ad other emergency equipment.
• Reviews and sings moderate and severe medical incident reports prior to donor being permitted to resume donating. Reviews abnormal test results including abnormal serum protein electrophoresis (SPE) test results and donor record lc-PD-09195 Page 2 files. Reviews normal SPE test results following an abnormal one and documents approval to resume donating.
• Assures the health and safety of donors participating in the non-red blood cell immunization programs, if applicable. Monitors donor clinical response to immunizations, when applicable. Oversees hyper-immune programs, if applicable. For red cell recipients in the Anti-D Program, if applicable: Performs qualifying evaluation (e.g. administers consents, medical history and physical exam) on donors before enrollment; provides review and approval for red blood cell immunization; is present when red cell immunizations are given. Submits monthly report to Divisional (or Corporate) Medical Director.
• Determines donor suitability following adverse reactions in consultation with the Corporate or Divisional Medical Director. Maintains current knowledge of infectious disease markets (i.e. HIV, HBV, HCV, syphilis, etc.)
• May perform Center Physician functions including but not limited to notifying donors of unsuitable test results, performing screening medical evaluations, assessing results of donor screening and laboratory tests to determine a donor’s initial and continued suitability for plasmapheresis, explaining informed consent materials to donors.
• Performs additional services as and when requested by the company.

Job Description
• Serves as the primary physician for reporting to the Food and Drug Administration and in such capacity provides medical oversight in compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations including the applicable sections of Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations and monitors medical compliance of the center. Either serves as or delegates to another appropriate physician the duties of “laboratory director”, “technical consultant”, or “clinical consultant” as prescribed by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act of 1988 regulations (CLIA). Assures that CLIA/COLA training, CLIA/COLA proficiency testing for hematocrit and total protein, and signed of logs involving standardization takes place.
• Reviews, understands, and complies with all CSL Plasma Services policies and procedures in the performance of services. Maintains high medical standards and ensures that cGMPs are adhered to through involvement with center management, center quality unit, and overall center activities. Is physically present at the center for agreed upon hours.
• Provides medical oversight to Medical Staff Associates, including their training, although such training may be delegated to an approved Medical Staff Associate. Trains other physicians. Evaluates newly trained Medical Staff Associates for completion of training and recommendation for certification by Regulatory Affairs. Functionally directs the Center Medical Staff. Provides training to other center staff on medically related procedures and practices.
