THE JOB :
• Proactively manage the CEO's personal and professional calendar , including making
• recommendations in regards to time management and prioritization
• Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization, including regular interaction with company executives, members of the Board of Directors, and high-profile external stakeholders.
• Coordinate business travel arrangements, taking into account individual preferences and corporate travel / expense guidelines, utilizing tools like Concur.
• Plan and manage professional and personal events , including choosing locations,
• accommodations and activities
• Supervise the management of personal properties
• Manage and track expense reports and receipts, ensuring the regular reconciliation of corporate credit card accounts.
• Coordinate meetings, including agenda preparation, materials creation, presentations, minute-taking when necessary, and diligent follow-up on action items.
• Prioritize conflicting needs, expedite critical matters, and ensure timely follow-up on action items and next steps.
• Collaboration : Work seamlessly with other team members to ensure smooth coordination of tasks and duties.

We are searching for a Head of Sales for G4 Technologies, Reed Family Companies startup that is releasing its flagship product, RTDensity, which provides a game-changing solution for the crucial asphalt compaction process during road paving...

What problem are we solving?

We are on a mission to improve the quality of the over 40 million miles of roadways in the world. Asphalt density is a key metric for successful paving, but this data is often not available until after a project is complete and it is too late to make changes. Our solution RTDensity, a patent-pending algorithm provides real-time density readouts during compaction, taking the guesswork out of the process and allowing roller operators to get the job done right the first time. RTDensity can also be seamlessly retrofitted onto any vibratory steel drum compactor and set up in less than an hour. After using this product for years within our own companies and beta testing with our early adopter partners, we are now ready to release RTDensity to the world!

Role

At G4 Technologies, the Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the full sales cycle for a high-growth startup as well as building and managing an effective sales team. With a hard-working but small team, we have already been overwhelmed with industry interest from customers, OEMS, and other partners. As such, we are looking for someone who can leverage internal resources to create a great sales and marketing process and build a team from the early stages. The Head of Sales will be the revenue leader at the company, working with product engineering, finance, and ownership as well as external partners. They will have the opportunity to be an integral voice in shaping the company strategy and product direction. As this role will require significant travel, the role is open to anyone in the United States, with a preference for Modesto (CA), Reno (NV), or Sacramento (CA).

Responsibilities
• Develop and implement strategies with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver on the company s mission.
• Drive recognition and adoption of RTDensity as the premier solution for asphalt compaction technologies.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with agencies, industry groups, manufacturers, and key customers to drive adoption of RTDensity technology.
• Meet aggressive revenue goals while achieving gross margin targets.
• Numerically demonstrate effective sales, then build, train, and lead a high-performing sales as well as marketing team.
• Partner with the corporate IT team to ensure this team has the right sales tools (e.g. CRM) to ensure leads are identified, developed, and converted into a sale.
