As an Operations Analyst IV in our Trust Investment Operations (TIO) team, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing subject matter expertise on the various operational processes across all groups in TIO. You will assess, develop, and implement group processes and systemic enhancements. You must have excellent communication skills, be an effective team-player, and able to juggle multiple priorities. Some Of Your Key Responsibilities May Include

A role you will love

As a Document Control Associate II, you will be responsible for completing transactions related to collateral processing, Lost Note Affidavit and Allonges by coordinating various activities with document custodians and third-party vendors. Cross-trained on at least 50% of Department Functions. Acts as a functional expert for these tasks and is the primary trainer accordingly. Completes escalated or rush transactions by interfacing with attorneys, vendors, custodians and other third parties. Independent work on special projects.
• Allonge and Assignment Procurement interface with third party lenders to fulfil their requirement to execute allonges, coordinate with attorneys for revisions and follow –up on open items
• Conducts thorough Investigation for Lost Note Affidavit processing
• Lost Note Affidavit processing – Investigating, coordinating with Foreclosure Attorneys, drafting, preparing for signatures, handling exceptions, ensuring timely processing, reconciling open transactions.
• Completes initial and ongoing training as determined by management. Recommends additional training or coursework in coordination with the Supervisor. Provides technical guidance to coworkers on collateral, LNA and Allonge transactions
• Collateral file processing – coordinating orders with Custodians, receiving, imaging, image verification, note verification, in-house delivery and shipping of collateral files
• Other duties or tasks as assigned by management

As you can imagine, we need you to have great attention to detail. Supporting a core process isn’t an easy job, so being able to think independently, problem solve, and work quickly are some key skills that you’ll need for this role.

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience
• Strong skills in all Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel

The Governance Manager will work closely with line of business leaders and relevant internal stakeholders, having 1 on 1 discussions, attending department meetings and operational committees to understand the success of the business in controlling risk in alignment with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework and CPU Policy standards and requirements. The Governance Manager will review the business' risk and control activities used to achieve success with agreed upon risk policy timeframes and meet expected risk management standards. The role holder will be engaged with the line of business during new product development, onboarding of new business and new clients, and when changes to existing standard operating routines are introduced. The Governance Manager, as necessary, will escalate matters to line of business management and Governance Control Management requiring further review. The role sits within the First Line of Defense reporting to the Governance and Control Product Manager.

Key Accountabilities include:
• Serve as the central point of contact for Computershare risk and control programs and requirements.
• Provide information and updates as requested by partner groups (Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Audit) online of business risk and control related activities.
• Ensure operational risks are properly identified, controls are effective, and properly documented in systems of record in accordance with the CPU Risk Management framework.
• Support CCT business efforts by validating product and operation groups are in compliance with CPU Policy standards and requirements; specific to CCT, Enterprise Risk Management Framework
• Support the CCT Procedures impacted by Department initiatives, change management and ongoing maintenance.
• Provide guidance and expertise over the Enterprise Risk Framework Programs, including Findings Management (Regulatory, Internal Audit or Self- Identified) and Events (Losses and Near Misses) Policy and Program, and assisting with assessment components such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action planning.
• Entering incidents and findings into ACE, Computershare's system of record for tracking, assessment, evaluation and reporting of risk events.
• Expected to provide review and challenge to CCT business correction action plans and advise of improvement opportunities.

What will you bring to the role?
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in trust, risk, compliance, audit or financial services
• Bachelor's degree is preferred
• Leadership experience preferred
• Proactively monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements
• Critical thinking & tactical decision making.
• Communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Business service focus with experience actively listening, eliciting information, comprehending issues/needs, and recommending solutions
• Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)
