Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities:

Instructional Excellence: Prepare engaging lesson plans, effectively utilize learning management systems, and objectively assess student performance.

Student Interaction: Create a nurturing classroom environment, provide feedback, support student development, and maintain accurate records.

Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest instructional methodologies, attend workshops, and actively engage in ongoing professional development.

Additional Contributions: Beyond the classroom, you'll participate in campus activities, events and meetings, assist with maintenance of an orderly classroom and lab, and contribute to a positive campus culture.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications:

• Must hold an active and unencumbered RN or LVN license in the state of employment. • Minimum of 4 years of clinical nursing experience in the past 5 years • Must have either: o Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school, o Valid teaching credentials o Completed 1 year of full-time teaching in a state accredited or approved RN or LVN program. o Meet all teaching requirements for community college or state universities in California.• Must meet approval of the Board of Nursing to hold the position. • Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications. • Previous experience teaching nursing students preferred.
