Alianza has a unique combination of people with cloud technology and telecom backgrounds. The Sales Director will report directly to the VP of Sales and be responsible for Alianza's account acquisition of North American Communication Service Providers (CSPs) such as cable providers, telcos, broadband ISPs, MSPs, etc. The Director will primarily work with Alianza's target prospects to understand their current and future voice/UC solution needs and position Alianza as the clear solution for next-generation cloud communications infrastructure. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Understand the CSP market and competitive ecosystem, current voice/UC solution, key drivers for change, pain points, etc. Build long term relationships with key decision makers in the CSP space. Develop an understanding of current prospect technology and roadmap Align-with and sell-with... sophisticated technology and solution partners Directly prospect, develop, negotiate, and close key accounts Report on all customer activity, progress, roadblocks and decision-making criteria Work with Marketing to develop and communicate customer value propositions and demand generation activities. Work closely with other internal organizations (Customer Success, Product, Support, Account management, and Finance) to ensure a smooth transition of new accounts from contract execution through market launch and revenue generation. Continue to scan the market for new growth opportunities and develop new go-to-market strategies to attack. It is expected that some reasonable travel will be required to establish key relationships and close deals. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling to CSPs with a deep understanding of CSP networking, the ecosystem, and CSP decision making Experience with solution selling - complex sales that require the full range of relationship, technical, business, financial and value proposition development Comfortable in an environment where the nature of the sale is complex.
