In This Role, You Will:

This recruiting partnership will provide opportunities for current or previously enrolled students in a 4-year Computer Science program to work in an industry-leading software company. This partnership is designed to provide opportunities for individuals to work part-time as an intern. It is ideally structured to not only support professional development and encourage STEM education, but also potentially open doors for full time employment with Cvent upon completion. Cvent will partner with universities’ Computer Science, Information Security, and other technology-related departments to identify students who have been recommended by a professor or faculty member with the following qualifications.

Here's What You Need:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or other technology-related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher,
• Have potential and interest in pursuing a career in the software development industry, and
• Are facing financial and/or personal hardships that would make it difficult or will prevent them from continuing their education.

Universities will provide the student’s contact information, academic transcript, and letter of recommendation outlining the student’s qualifications for the program. While enrolled in this program, participants will be paired with a manager and mentor on their team who will work with them to determine their schedule, projects and workload, and help develop their technical skills. An ideal candidate will possess proficiency and interest in communications, change management, learning theory, training/instructional design, as well as a strong desire to educate other on secure online behaviors. This role will report directly to the Manager of Security Awareness & Training in North America.

In This Role, You Will:
• Support the creation and delivery of a variety of instructor-led and virtual trainings, including but not limited to development of role-based trainings and companywide trainings for Cybersecurity Awareness Month activities
• Assign, track, and report on training courses within Cvent’s Learning Management System
• Produce communications for newsletters, blogs, and companywide alerts pertaining to critical risks, noteworthy incidents, and/or security awareness topics
• Contribute to all areas of the phishing awareness program, including tasks related to analysis of simulated phishing program metrics as well as tracking of real phishing incidents
• Assist with delivery of Security Awareness training sessions for Cvent new hire onboardings
• Reduce organizational risk by aiding the coordination of key security initiatives, such as the Cvent Security Ambassador and Secure Coding Programs

Here's What You Need:
• BA/BS in Psychology, Communications, or Information/Cyber Security
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated interest in security awareness and/or Learning & Development/Training
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to perform independently with limited direction in a fast-paced and dynamic organization
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with an eye for detail
• Understanding of information security and/or project management principles preferred

We have multiple openings for Account Managers on our Event Solutions division, whose main responsibility will be managing existing client accounts. If you applied or are interested for another division, please note that those positions have been filled for the time being.

In this role, you will be charged with identifying and closing sales opportunities with the clients you manage, such as contract renewals, up-sells, cross-sells, etc. Additionally, you will provide a high level of quality of service to our customers. You will be required to demonstrate solution-selling skills and effectively manage internal relationships with the Sales and Client Services departments to ensure complete customer satisfaction and meet sales objectives.

In This Role, You Will:
• Identify and close sales opportunities with our clients, such as contract renewals, cross-sells, and up-sells (such as adding additional apps to clients’ packages), etc.
• Present products and services information to corporate accounts
• Ensure relationships with key decision-makers for accounts that will provide business are continuously developed and relationships are strengthened and grown
• Work with Sales and Client Services teams to ensure complete customer satisfaction with the Cvent product and organization
• Ensure customer issues are acknowledged and resolved within 24 hours
• Call on existing clients in an effort to meet and exceed individual and department revenue expectations
• Develop and actively pursue list of targeted Key Accounts within North America and create individual plans of action to penetrate these accounts
• Set aggressive goals for annual revenue achievement against each account
• Accurately forecast sales opportunities via pipeline report
• Effectively and accurately manage personal revenue pipeline to maximize all business opportunities
• Monitor and report sales activity within the system
• Perform other duties as assigned

Here's What You Need:
• Bachelor’s degree is required (strong academic performance is desired)
• At least 3 years of experience in customer-facing, revenue-generating role (more is welcomed)
• Ability to multi-task and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing entrepreneurial environment
• Must be able to integrate knowledge across disciplines to include relationship management, consultative selling, product demonstrations, closing contracts, operation/process flow, and product function
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of computer literacy is a must
• This is not a technical position. Relevant experience might include selling CRM or CMS systems, ASP based data systems, Travel or Meeting Planning Services
• Ability to work with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Salesforce.com or similar contact management software
• Experience selling or managing accounts in SaaS/technology/hospitality space a plus
• Experience working in the Event Management industry a plus
