Major Responsibilities (How Will I Make an Impact?):
• Work as a Named Resource for a group of Strategic D2L customers in administering their Brightspace Learning Environment
• Complete D2L training to become fully Brightspace Certified
• Maintain, expand and research knowledge of the Brightspace Learning Environment, as well as other products offered by D2L
• Leverage customer relationships to create and enhance internal processes which encourage better knowledge of and attention to customer needs

Competencies (What you’ll bring to the role):
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supporting and/or administering the Brightspace Learning Environment
• Full understanding and knowledge of the specific tasks that are required in administration of a Learning Management System (LMS) including, but not limited to the following:
• Management of users and groups including learners, instructors, ASCs, etc.
• Enrolment of users into appropriate courses.
• Configuration of permissions and settings
• Bulk course copying and editing
• Product Consultation
• Provide client with feedback on effective practices for implementation of tools
• Document and report all changes for auditing.
• Maintain and expand working knowledge of all D2L Solutions
• Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver results under pressure
• Strong project organizational and time management skills
• Strong relationship building skills and conflict negotiation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; including the ability to present technical issues to a non-technical audience
• Strong ability to document all tasks that would be required for auditing purposes

Job Summary:
The Paid Search Manager will lead our global paid search efforts across the North American, EMEA, APAC & LATAM regions. This is a hands-on paid search role where the candidate will be expected to be in platform executing and optimizing campaigns, while also providing long term strategy planning & guidance.
As a key member of the performance marketing team, the successful candidate will be expected to own and manage both the strategy and hands-on management of our paid search activities. They will proactively work with various groups including Segment Marketing, Public Relations, Events, and International Marketing teams to understand corporate objectives and deliver digital activities. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop their knowledge outside of paid search by supporting the performance marketing team in Paid Social, Programmatic Display & SEO efforts.
They will also work directly with regional supports in both the EMEA & LATAM markets, providing mentorship & strategy guidance for paid search efforts across our international markets.
The successful candidate will report to the Global Performance Marketing Director.
How Will I Make an Impact?
• Execute & manage Paid Search (Google Ads & Microsoft Ads) campaigns for the North American & international markets
• Support in the creation and management of new LinkedIn Ad campaigns for the B2B market when required (with support and guidance from the Paid Social Strategist)
• Support in the management of external agency and/or channel partners
• Report success metrics and provide insights & recommendations on paid search performance
• Work with local and international D2L teams to localize and translate campaigns for new emerging markets
• Work with the web team to optimize the D2L website to improved conversion rate and keyword quality scores by analyzing website traffic via GA4
• Work with the central marketing team to translate the global digital strategy through campaign management so that your marketing colleagues and external agencies can support on execution
• Manage your channel’s forecast & media spend projections
• Monitor effectiveness and research ROI opportunities, making recommendations for improvement, developing, and implementing corresponding solutions
• Assist with project and resource planning where required
• Work with web, SEO & content team to feedback keyword insights & findings
• Support 2 regional managers in the execution of paid search strategies
What you’ll bring to the role:
• 3-4+ Years hands-on experience managing Paid Search Campaigns across Google Ads & Microsoft Ads
• Experience working in SaaS and/or B2B verticals is preferred
• Ability to work cross functionally paid social, web, content & SEO teams.
• Experience with Paid Social Platforms (LinkedIn Ads) & Programmatic Display is preferred but not required
• Experience with tracking technologies including Google Tag Manager
• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics
• Strong budget management skills

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Brightspace Trainer, you will deliver product training to clients and internal employees both on-site and virtually. By developing and improving training materials, resources and other documentation you will deliver meaningful sessions that impact our users’ ability to interact with the Brightspace platform. We're looking for individuals who are confident, clear communicators and have an understanding of software and a passion for education.
HOW WILL I MAKE AN IMPACT?
• Deliver product training to D2L clients using a variety of methods (onsite face to face, virtual, recorded) to increase understanding and knowledge of our products and services
• Develop expertise in the entire suite of D2L products
• Conduct needs assessment in order to develop tailored training plans for clients across all verticals (K12, Higher Education and Corporate)
• Create new training material, courses and webinars - to include agendas, videos, job aides, leave-behinds, assessment activities, simulations, and more
• Enhance training experience for clients with value-added best practices consultation
• Develop new training and consultative service offerings by collaborating with subject matter experts across D2L
• Combine your knowledge of adult learning theory with your classroom teaching experience to create impactful and engaging training experiences that focus on the use of technology to transform learning
• Keep current with Web 2.0 technologies that are used to facilitate eLearning
• Travel to client locations (possibly up to 40%)
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
• Excellent oral communication; including large and small-group presentation experience, and persuasive speaking skills
• Bilingual – English / Canadian French at an advanced spoken and written level (comfort with European French an asset)
• Demonstrated use of reflective listening and feedback to encourage group involvement, to clarify and expand upon trainee contributions, to guide the direction of the discussion, and to enhance trainees’ understanding of the content and concepts being presented
• An understanding of the typical stages in the development and mastery of new knowledge and skills, and an ability to develop training materials that promote this sequential development
• Strategies to keep your trainees’ focused, on task, and within established time frames, while remaining responsive to the group needs and concerns
• Ability to incorporate feedback and participant evaluations to identify opportunities for improving the training
• 3+ years’ experience teaching in a blended learning setting
• 1+ years’ experience teaching and training adult learners on complex concepts
• Familiarity with Adult Learning Theory
