Danone North America is looking for a Production Operator in Minster, Ohio.
The Production High Tech Operator opening is in the packaging area of the plant, where the yogurt gets filled into the cups or bottles. The position combines manual tasks such as physically loading raw materials into production equipment and operating powered industrial trucks as well as operating computer systems, troubleshooting and responding to process breakdowns, performing quality checks including tasting the yogurt, cleaning and sanitation. Danone's fast-paced environment requires successful employees to be on their feet most of their shift 12-hour shift, and to have a high attention to quality and working safely. In this position you will wear a free uniform that includes steel toed shoes, safety eyewear, ear plugs, hairnet and bump cap.
Specific Responsibilities:
• Operate production fluid control systems
• Verify target weights and meet target through the application of statistical process control
• Perform quality checks and accuracy of materials/products
• Consistently communicate with all departments involved in production process (e.g., warehouse,distribution, processing, fruit room, scheduling).
