Job Description

Daxko's Customer Service Team is looking for a WOW-provider to support its software and engagement solutions. We need someone with personality and versatility that can take initiative, manage team projects, build rapport, and build lasting client relationships. Think you're up to the task?

NOTE: This position will provide support for one or more of our many products - Daxko Operations, CSI Spectrum, Zen Planner, VFPnext or Club Automation. This position will be a hybrid position, with three days in office and two working remotely. To be considered, you need to be located in or near one of the following cities:
• Denver, Colorado
• Birmingham, Alabama
• Bannockburn, Illinois

As a Customer Service Advocate, you are responsible for acting as a liaison, providing product/services information, and resolving any emerging problems that our customer accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

You will also:
• Create, build, and maintain relationships and rapport with clients - Answering product questions and explaining technical concepts to a non-technical audience via email, phone, and live chat.
• Help customers better utilize our software by providing best-practice consulting and product training
• Investigate and diagnose system issues via research and testing
• Identify complex problems and information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
• Effectively communicate with staff at all levels in an organization
• Remain current on and adhere to updated policies and standard operating procedures
• Take initiative and act innovatively to help our customers and Daxko succeed
• Meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly call and case goals
• Participate in and/or lead team trainings and professional development opportunities in order to become a product expert

Qualifications

Note: This position is Entry Level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment
• Ability to handle stressful situations or dissatisfied customers
• Ability to train and teach others how to use product(s)
• Availability to work shifts ranging as early as 7am CST to as late as 7pm CST (M-F), with periodic on-call time. Note: each weekday shift will be an 8 hour shift with a 1 hour lunch break.
• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ years of relevant experience

• Technical, help-desk, or support experience
• Experience using a CRM software, such as Salesforce

Job Description

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer is a role for the motivated coder/hacker/engineer who wants to solve problems at the root cause, in an elegant and sustainable way. You will be an instrumental part of our TechOps team, which exists to build and support the foundational tools that our product teams use to build products our customers love and trust. We care deeply about our delivery pipeline being simple, reliable, consistent, and fast. You will be successful in this role if you have a deep love for automation, building scalable systems, embracing new technologies, and sharing with teammates.

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer reports to the Manager, Site Reliability Engineering.

In your day-to-day, you will also:
• Monitor system activity 24x7 as part of an on-call rotation
• Support all Daxko software offerings and integrated third-party tools
• Collaborate on cases escalated to TechOps Support and build long-term solutions for recurring cases with automatable solutions.
• Identify and resolve technical debt items that, if resolved, could make other engineers more efficient.
• Coordinate with agile development teams, DBAs, implementation, and support to ensure the production environment is healthy and stable
• Identify repetitive tasks and automate them (spinning up new environments, deployments, etc)
• Build, support, and administer all aspects of Daxko's continuous product delivery pipeline
• Work with core components such as load balancers, firewalls, etc.
• Make it painless for product teams to develop, test, deploy, and monitor by providing clear, documented frameworks around our operational systems
• Execute our disaster recovery plan; ensuring it is up-to-date and thoroughly tested
• Mentor team members as a subject-matter expert
• Troubleshoot system jobs and services that fail and work with core development teams as needed to ensure operational stability and efficiency.

Qualifications
• Five (5+) years of related experience
• Extensive experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Chef, or Ansible
• Scripting experience with the following languages: Python, Ruby, Bash
• Experience with modern git repo technologies (GitHub, BitBucket, GitLab)
• Experience with CI/CD technologies (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
• Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies (VMWare, AWS)
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline OR equivalent experience
• Problem-solving skills and attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Advanced understanding of Linux, networking, and Internet principles
• Fantastic attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and work well under pressure
• Effective interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of staff levels

Job Description

The Site Reliability Engineering Manager manages all production assets for each product. This position’s responsibilities include: batching, upgrading, deploying new servers, organizing the teams workload, supporting engineering efforts, compliance, uptime, and performance monitoring. You’ll be responsible for prioritizing, organizing and leading your team on the execution of all work. The SRE Manager assesses operational capabilities and performance to ensure the on-time delivery of quality products and services to all customers, both internal and external.

The Site Reliability Engineering Manager reports to the VP of Platform Engineering.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Sets and helps team understand performance targets and goals
• Evaluates and provides real-time feedback on performance
• Trains and/or ensures that team is properly trained for their specific roles
• Coordinates on-call rotation
• Coordinates training for staff
• Assists in resolving emergencies, such as a infrastructure or software outages
• Manages headcount and makes staffing decisions related to new hires and terminations

Your Responsibilities:
• Oversee progress in achieving operational/production goals and objectives, especially with respect to quality, cost, and customer service
• Take the responsibility for uptime, data accuracy, and integrity
• Interact with Engineering Leads to assure alignment between teams
• Maintain business continuity for all production assets
• Ensure proper planning and prioritization using agile practices.
• Ensure operations are in full compliance with all company and regulatory requirements
• Be a technical escalation point for your team

Qualifications
