Responsibilities
• Manage all aspects of daily administration of benefit plans with emphasis on client service for all Firm insureds. Actions include explanation of benefit plans and their application to specific situations, as well as active participation in escalated claim and coverage gap resolution for our insureds
• Manage all aspects of RFP process for all major benefit plans, as needed, including supervision of the Firm’s broker in all phases of the RFP process
• Summarize renewal planning, negotiation efforts and timeline, as well as make recommendations for benefit plan design, contribution strategy and carrier selection to Firm leadership, based upon financials, market conditions and legal requirements. Qualifications
• Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
• 7-10 years benefits experience; knowledge of Hawai`i benefits law and state and local paid leave laws highly preferred
• 3-5 years benefits management experience
• Experience in professional services environment highly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills
• Experience interacting with all levels of internal and external clients

ROLE

Dentons is currently recruiting a Global 3E Technical Product Owner to support and manage the various Thomson Reuters 3E environments as part of the Global Application Management Team within Central Technology Services service, in the Global Business Technology function, the role will work closely with the firm’s Finance Transformation program before taking overall responsibility for the technical aspects these environments. The firm’s Global Finance Transformation program is underpinned by a multi-year move to Thomson Reuters’ 3E practice management system.

This position will work alongside existing global business technology team members responsible for the firm’s applications, infrastructure and environments, as well as the existing project team and vendors. The role requires a candidate with strong product management, application management, infrastructure and environmental management skills. In addition, understanding the complexities of the global solutions architecture and interdependencies of the applications and systems.

The role holder will also work with relevant Regional and Global stakeholders from Finance and Technology business services to manage the solution in operations.

The role will report to the Global Finance Applications Senior Manager.

The Global 3E Technical Product Owner will be joining the Global Application Management team at an exciting time. A newly created team created specifically to support new applications coming out of Dentons Global Transformation Programs, the team will be a central feature of the operational support services within the Dentons Central Technology Support service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
• To own the 3E technical stack and work with the Global Technology and the Global Finance Transformation program teams to successfully align and bring an operation plan for this ownership and usage as well as coordinating the readying of the solution for operational adoption.
• To own the technical product relationship with regions. Dentons has a polycentric structure with many stakeholders.
• To ensure that post rollout user feedback, enhancement and defects are collated and considered with regard to technical impacts to be tracked and further inform the solution roadmap.
• To be the global point of contact for regions seeking a centralized response or advice with regard to their environments.
• Manage and protect the global design and code set, crucial in ensuring future consistency to enable streamline management. To work with the relevant stakeholders to maintain the integrity of the global design from a technology viewpoint.
• To work with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the integrity of 3E is maintained through the appropriate BAU governance process of technical design authority and program board, and through the PMO managed processes for change control.
• Manage requests from regions while appreciating and managing the impact on other regions’ environments
• Manage and coordinate technical enhancement requests from the Global Process Owners
• Delivery of enhancements whether initiated from a regional request or a Global requirement.
• Day to day liaison with vendors to ensure that they are aligned and equipped to deliver appropriate services to support the Dentons 3E environment stacks
• Deliver a first class, multi-located service team to support the practice management system.
• The refinement of the global finance support structure and governance processes to manage the operational product.
• To consolidate teams across regions and enable effective operational practices
• To liaise and work with support service teams and utilize feedback to create efficiencies and better operations
• To ensure that appropriate support materials and knowledgebase for BAU operation are in place and maintained.
• Partner with global and regional stakeholders across the organization, as well as system implementation partners, to inform product vision, strategy, features and priorities.
• Coordinate subsequent releases of 3E software, to include enhancement agreed by design authority, business engagement, testing, training and successful roll out to the business.
• Support the future enhancements, coordinating appropriate change management and activities, ensuring that the appropriate documentation and process mapping is in place.
• Liaise between business and technology stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and clear understanding of business continuity requirements
• To act as the day-to-day point of contact for the external system implementation partners working with the firm on the design, development and continuous improvement of the 3E platforms
• Identification of key project risks and issues and appropriate escalation to program and/or operational management.
• Act as a global champion for the benefits of a globally consistent and uniform approach to technical architecture and operation of the finance platform and toolsets
