• A married person is preferred; proficiency in Spanish is a plus but optional.

Additional responsibilities may include assisting in other areas as needed.

This is a full-time position with the hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, occasional evenings, and weekends.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Facilities Staff member to work evening hours. As a Facilities staff member you will be responsible for maintaining safe, clean, functional buildings and grounds. The Facilities Staff perform tasks related to HVAC, carpentry electrical, alarm, plumbing, environmental, pest control, roofing, safety, etc. This position requires a team-playing attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, attention to details and project coordination. The position functionally reports to the Director of Facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Performs all work related to the repair and maintenance of school buildings including but not limited to carpentry, painting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Accomplishes tasks and processes accurately and completely. Examples include repairs to doors, bathrooms, windows, light bulbs, ballasts, breakers, leaks, ac units, boiler room repairs, hot water tanks, water softeners, pumps, compressors and kitchen equipment.
• Monitors equipment and completes necessary testing as required
• Maintain the campus and the grounds, which includes; maintenance and daily upkeep and all sporting fields Football field and Stadium, baseball fields, softball fields, lacrosse fields, field hockey fields, soccer fields and the tennis courts. Also maintain all the equipment.
• Promptly and attentively responds to customer requests within established parameters and time frames. Performs work in the least disruptive manner possible to customers. Demonstrates courteous actions and follows the organization's established protocol for customer service. An example is the set-up and break-down of resources for daily school events.
• Receive and deliver all deliveries to the school.
• Maintain adequate paper supply throughout the school.
• Perform snow removal and salting of all parking lots, sidewalks, and steps, during inclement weather, to ensure the safety of all our students and faculty.
• Participate in asbestos O&M awareness courses (annually) and undergo 3-year inspections as required under the State of NJ.
• Be willing to obtain a Low Pressure Boiler License and have New Jersey State inspections every year.
• Be willing to participate in an Integrated Pest Management Course
• Make recommendations for the safety and growth of Notre Dame High School
• Performs tasks and duties safely to avoid danger to self and others. Identifies and informs supervisor of potential safety problems. Warns others of potential hazards. Uses appropriate protective equipment following established protocols.
• Identifies facilities-related maintenance problems and implements standard courses of action to resolve problems within established project timeframes and administrative and technical requirements.

KEY SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
• Must have good interpersonal skills and familiarity with the Church as an organization.
• Ability to execute projects systematically.
• Proficient in computer applications, such as Word, Excel, and internet are desirable.
• Good organizational and communication skills
• Ability to safely lift 50 lbs.
• May be required to have a designated level of technical skill or knowledge in a specific technical area(s)

Key Responsibilities
• Oversight of the Leprechaun Shop: The Alumni Coordinator will be responsible for checking inventory, managing volunteers, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Leprechaun Shop. This includes coordinating with vendors, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a welcoming and organized shopping environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to engage and connect with alumni through various channels.
• Organize alumni events, reunions, and networking opportunities to foster a sense of community and loyalty.
• Maintain accurate alumni records and databases ensuring that all graduating classes have the most current information available. This includes working closely with class agents, organizing reunions and affinity groups, and maintaining accurate records of alumni engagement.

• Event coordination experience: Previous experience in event coordination or planning is preferred. The candidate should have a good understanding of event logistics and be able to work effectively under pressure.
