Docker
Docker is an open source platform for developing, shipping, and running applications. It provides an efficient way to package, deploy, and manage applications and services. Docker simplifies the development process by providing a consistent environment for developers to build and test applications. It also enables developers to quickly deploy applications to production environments with minimal disruption. Docker also makes it easy to share and reuse applications, images, and configurations across teams and organizations. With its powerful orchestration capabilities, Docker helps organizations get the most out of their applications and services.

• Consult with managers and leaders to craft meaningful strategies to retain, engage and develop high performing teams
• Consult with leadership to align performance and reward recommendations
• Implement and monitor adherence to all Human Resource and organization-specific policies, procedures, and practices. Manage leaves of absence and return to work policies.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years HR related work experience, preferably with a technology company, in onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS, employee relations, terminations, and compliance.
• Strong experience working with global organizations in the Americas and Europe.
• Exceptional full cycle HR knowledge and experience but benefits is your niche
• Superior written and verbal communications skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.
• Experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes.
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability skills in a fast-growing environment, while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
• Highly developed in taking initiative and resourcefulness.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets in Excel and Google spreadsheets preferred.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and other standard HR tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
In the first month, expect to
• Onboard and integrate into Docker.
• Learn Docker’s culture and methodologies.
• Begin to handle the day-to-day needs of our global employees.
In the first three months, expect to
• Recognize, suggest, and develop process improvements.
• Have analyzed benefit offerings and have recommendations
• Actively engage with leadership at Docker, working collaboratively on strategic initiatives.
In the first year, expect to
• A trusted advisor and strategic partner with Docker’s leadership team, problem-solving issues that arise, and introducing new innovative programs and processes to employees.

Docker is the leader in the containerization market, combining an enterprise-grade container platform (https://www.docker.com/products/docker-enterprise) with world-class services to give developers and IT alike the freedom to build, manage and secure applications without the fear of technology or infrastructure lock-in. Today’s organizations are under pressure to digitally transform their business but are constrained by a diverse portfolio of applications, clouds and premises-based infrastructures. Docker unlocks the potential of every organization with a container platform that brings traditional applications and microservices built on Window, Linux and mainframe into an automated and secure supply chain, advancing dev to ops collaboration. As a result, organizations report a 300 percent improvement in time to market, while reducing operational costs by 50 percent. Inspired by open source innovation and a rich ecosystem of technology and go-to-market partners, Docker’s container platform and services are used by millions of developers and more than 550 Global 10K commercial customers (https://www.docker.com/customers) including ADP, GE, MetLife, PayPal and Societe Generale.
Docker focuses on SaaS, Cloud Computing, Software, and Virtualization. Their company has offices in San Francisco, Indianapolis, Palo Alto, London, and Paris. They have a large team that's between 201-500 employees. To date, Docker has raised $270.74M of funding; their latest round was closed on October 2018 at a valuation of $1.32B.
