Through the annual budget process, Finance Budget Analysts become policy experts in their field, responsible for advising policymakers on important issues facing California.
After the release of the Budget in January, a Finance Budget Analyst becomes the public representative of the Administration, responsible for defending the Governor’s budget proposals.
Finance Budget Analysts are responsible for a wide range of fiscal policy responsibilities, including the preparation, enactment, and administration of the Governor’s Budget. Staff work with top management of state government and legislative staff regarding fiscal and programmatic policies of the Administration. Budget and policy staff also provide fiscal and programmatic analyses of legislative bills and make recommendations to the Governor and the Legislature.

The Administrative Assistant - Projects provides administrative support to management and staff. Primary responsibility will be to assigned department but will need to interface and provide support to other departments on an ad hoc or project basis.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
• Regularly interface with Subsea Project Managers on project specific needs
• Consistently and correctly use internal information management systems
• Maintain inventory and generate Purchasing Requisitions for needed supplies and services through internal ERP system
• Weekly verification of hired equipment
• Assist in tracking of equipment when necessary
• Complete Goods Receipts and upload appropriate back up documentation into the ERP system on any project Purchase Order.
• Work with Accounts Payable to ensure invoices can be posted and paid for the month or accrued for month end reporting.
• Scan, copy and archive documents as required
• Other duties as assigned
Work Experience:
• A minimum of three years of experience as a Department/Administrative Assistant for an Oil & Gas company with a preference in the subsea sector
Qualification:
• Knowledge and experience of the purchasing process
• Knowledge of the receiving processes
• Proficient with standard business application software
Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening. DOF Subsea highly recommends that successful candidates have full vaccination against COVID-19. DOF Subsea maintains the right to request a background screening as a part of the recruitment process.
