About the Role

You will be responsible for enabling customers post-sales, driving adoption within their organization and ensuring high retention and account growth. You will bring strong relationship-building experience, strategic thinking, product knowledge, and empathy toward ensuring the customer’s success. Key to this role is the ability to map the customer journey with platform capability and expand the DroneDeploy licenced user footprint across our strategic customers’ multiple lines of business.

This role works directly with our customers and sales team, as their trusted advisor, product expert, and advocate. Our ideal candidates love nurturing customer relationships and driving value through experience, problem-solving and innovations.

Responsibilities
• * Onboarding and enabling enterprise customers, whilst optimizing time to value with the DroneDeploy platform solutions
• Experienced in Strategic Account Planning: Identify and proactively manage all trends in customer base adoption and assess potential churn risk, and provide guidance/action plans to customers to increase adoption and value
• Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders and users in your customer portfolio
• Act as the voice of the customer, advocating the customer’s point of view and providing detailed internal feedback to cross-functional teams regarding how DroneDeploy can better serve our customers, improve their experience, and better the customers’ outcomes with our services
• Co-manage the renewals process with aligned Account Executive and accurately forecast renewals for aligned customer base to achieve high net retention numbers
• Identify account expansion and cross-organizational opportunities for growth and work with your Enterprise Account Executive counterpart to ensure a successful close
• Impart strategic leadership and direction on all aspects of DroneDeploy products and services
• Ensure any account issues are resolved quickly, utilizing resources from across Technical Support, Sales, Engineering, etc.

Requirements
• * 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing, B2B role with Customer Success, Account Management, or other client-facing roles
• Proven track record in managing Enterprise customer relationships and delivering results
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth B2B SaaS technology environment, support Enterprise software
• Data-driven and strategic thinker who is able to consult with customers to drive adoption within their program
• Exceptional ability in organization, project management, time management, and communication skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Diligence and organization in follow-up processes – document all calls/customer interactions in CRM
• Experience working cross-functionally alongside Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Executive teams
• Experience with Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, and other similar SaaS products a plus
• Must be able to travel 25-50% of the time for customer on-site
• Must be able to travel Internationally
• Background in the AEC, energy & renewables, and agricultural industries a plus
• Background in GIS or photogrammetry a plus
• Work Location | Must be able to work 100% remotely

We are hiring a Legal and Security Administrator with an educational or work-experience background appropriate to handling a range of data security and legal administrative responsibilities. Role Overview

Solutions Engineers are industry experts, with a strong sense for the drivers and trends that are transforming the reality capture space, and can convincingly and effectively demonstrate DroneDeploy’s solutions using documented customer evaluation plans and use-case adoption examples.

You will be the primary industry and solutions resource for our AEC sales team, taking a consultative approach with our customers and prospects, identifying their use cases and operational challenges and driving value-based alignment between customer needs and the DroneDeploy platform. This is a critical role in our Go-To-Market team, working hand in glove with our AEC sales territory leaders to support existing and prospective customers as their trusted industry and product advisor.

Our ideal candidate loves nurturing customer relationships, and is deeply curious, with a passion for tell stories, solving complex problems, and articulating innovations and improvements. As a critical partner to our customers and prospects, you will bring accountability, strategic thinking and deep product knowledge. Responsibilities
• * Consult with existing and prospective customers to identify the current state of their reality capture program, identify and document current pain points, collaborate on solutions, and drive successful evaluations to align their needs with DroneDeploy’s solutions
• Collaborate with the sales team (average 2-4 AEs) on opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proof-of-concept presentations, RFP responses and business justification in a presales capacity
• Work with Sales & Customer Success to grow customers into DroneDeploy advocates and accelerate adoption through programmatic engagement strategies, training and consultation.
• Conduct analysis to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvement, systems enhancement, user training on DroneDeploy’s Product, and/or hardware recommendations such as drones, mobile devices, 360 cameras, etc.
• Partner with Marketing to conduct group training webinars and in-person sessions to educate customers on DroneDeploy’s platform
• Develop a mastery of DroneDeploy solutions Unified Aerial and Ground Products, Aerial and Ground Automation tools, and Intelligence products, as well as our service offerings

Requirements
• * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 4+ years of field experience in similar role or in a program/operations management role with an energy, construction, architecture, mining or engineering organization
• Prior experience with a SaaS company or working knowledge of enterprise SaaS products
• Pre-sales, solutions engineering or customer-facing experience with enterprise SaaS platforms desirable
• Must be able to obtain a Part 107 UAV pilot’s license within your first 3 months
• Able to travel domestically and visit customers approximately 50% of the time with the possibility for international travel. Active passport and ability to travel internationally is required.
• Exceptional communication skills, including demonstrated experience in delivering solutions proposals to C-suite and executive-level stakeholders
• Thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, with superior organizational and time-urgency skills
• Able to work Monday – Friday 8-5PM EST, but variable hours may be required due to the nature of role, travel, and customer engagements

$116,000 – $136,500 a year

The base salary range reflects our Tier 1 compensation band which includes the state of New York. If hired outside a Tier 1 location the base salary range may adjust as our pay bands are based on geolocation. The salary offered may vary based on meeting position requirements, skills, experience, position level, and location. In addition to the base salary, we offer an annual variable, equity, employee benefits, and programs.

Role Overview

We’re hiring an experienced Mobile Engineer to join our drone automation team. In this role as Mobile Engineer, you will be responsible for bringing to market some of DroneDeploy’s most advanced features for drone flight automation, real-time mapping, machine learning, and more. DroneDeploy’s mobile applications already fly millions of flights globally, and we are expanding our platform. We believe in a future where drones will become 10x smarter and fly themselves without any human intervention. Your work in this role will lay that groundwork.

• * Develop and deliver software application features primarily using javascript with some native Android code.

Role Overview

As a Director, Product Marketing, your role exists to build a team that brings customer obsession and deep product knowledge to bear as DroneDeploy launches new products into the market. This leader brings data and customer insights that drive our marketing strategy, ensuring maximal product adoption and customer retention.

Responsibilities
• * Foster a high performing team culture that encourages testing, learning, and delivering with urgency
• Establish the habits and rituals that ensure we have a Product Marketing team that is so close to our customers that they are viewed as the go-to team for customer insights and knowledge by the entire company.
• Recruit, motivate, and mentor a team of industry and product experts
• Set high-level priorities and communicate overall expectations for the Product Marketing team
• Track record of successful product launches, as measured by impact to revenue and/or usage.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with sales and product teams to support on-going product adoption
• Connect the higher level product strategy and vision for the business with the story we tell in each new product launch. Translate the strategy one and two layers down to communicate ‘the why’ behind each feature we launch.
• Model urgent curiosity about our customers, with the desire and ability to uncover insights and opportunities, and translate them into product and marketing plans—influencing the product roadmap.
• Is an advocate for the customer and understands the unique pain points and challenges of each persona along the sales cycle
• Actively participating in client meetings and/or calls, and help sales executives present on our solutions
• Understand exactly how our products work and can cover them at various levels of technical detail
• Aid the product manager in the testing of new products and/or features to determine their feasibility and overall GTM strategy
• Serve as a mentor to other members of the team and provides ad hoc coaching to peers as opportunities arise
• Think creatively on how to support the team, what solutions need to be developed and then influence the direction and scope of the new project(s)
• Manage a geographically distributed team of Product Marketing Managers, providing communications of job expectations, planning, mentoring and appraising job performance;
• Define content needs and work with marketing, PR and the content team to create content to support our product initiatives
• Drive global adoption of our solutions and effectively measure and attribute success to our revenue goals
• Partner with Enablement to develop the framework for training needs and initiatives for the global commercial team
• Partner with leadership to drive and clarify strategic prioritization across multiple initiatives

Requirements
• * 12+ years of relevant work experience in a Product Marketing or related role
• 5+ years of experience building, scaling, and managing teams
• Strong working knowledge of online advertising technology
• Excellent oral and written communication skills including extensive client-facing / public presentation experience
• Meticulous and detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage team projects
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Ability to present concepts, influence and gain support at the senior level of an organization
• Demonstrate leadership and innovation capabilities
• Work Hours | able to work between Monday – Friday, 9 -5 pm local time
• Work Location | able to work 100% remote or in the SF office 1 – 3 times a week
• Travel | available to travel domestically occasionally for work-related events such as conferences, company in-person gatherings, pieces of training

Role Overview
We are hiring a Legal and Security Administrator with an educational or work-experience background appropriate to handling a range of data security and legal administrative responsibilities. We prioritize a willingness to learn, clear thinking and a “can do” attitude over technical knowledge, although an understanding of basic data security and legal concepts is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete customer security questionnaire(s) and identify opportunities to improve the interface between the Go-to-Market and Security & Compliance teams.
- Collaborate with multiple teams at DroneDeploy to streamline security procedures and policies.
- Support and coordinate audit-related tasks.
- Manage commercial contract databases and processing.
- Support equity administration and other legal compliance activities.
- Assist in the management of other security, legal and compliance-related projects, including data privacy compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution
- 1-2 years experience in legal or compliance-related role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to work between Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm PT; If not located in the PT zone available to work some overlapping hours with the PT zone
- Able to work 100% remote OR in the San Francisco office 1 to 3 days per week
- Some travel may be required for company events
- Familiarity with SaaS or technology industry is a plus
