A core member of agile teams, the Product Owner (PO) works with Product Management, the development teams, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to define and prioritize User and Enabler Stories in the Team Backlog to streamline the execution of program priorities. The Team Backlog contains all the items the team needs to do to... advance their portion of the platform's functionality. Stories are the fundamental mechanism to describe a small piece of desired functionality that will be incrementally implemented by the team as part of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to provide value to the end user. The PO owns the Team Backlog and its implementation. The PO contributes to the vision and refinement of the Program Backlog, serves as the main source for story detail and priorities for each Program Iteration and is responsible for iteration plan acceptance, story acceptance criteria and acceptance of stories as done. The PO role requires an individual with strong collaborative skills who can work with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to continually ensure their team is executing the highest priority, value added work. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES PO will join the EBSCO product team developing a next generation SaaS analytics product that collects, transforms, stores, and displays data from various customer information systems. Working with the development team & external software contractor teams, the PO is expected to understand what type of work is carried out by all of the teams and how that work is carried out. With this knowledge, the PO will help to ensure coordination across the program. The PO manages the team backlogs by entering stories and ensures that all dependent work is also captured on other team's boards as well as other EBSCO ARTs as appropriate. The PO will be instrumental in helping teams decide what work to pull when based on several variables which include value, size of the work, dependencies, and global priorities. Coordinate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to shape the vision and requirements of new platform components and features - Act an evangelist for the platform, sharing information both internally and externally to help ensure the success of the platform Able to internalize broader platform strategy such that it informs platform specifications and feature priorities - Work with subject matter experts to understand personas, use cases, and market landscape Work as an embedded resource to one or more scrum teams - Works both within teams and across the organization coordinating with colleagues to ensure the ultimate integrity of platform capabilities between different modules/apps and teams/organizations Responsible for the creation and acceptance of user stories - Produce clear, detailed and measurable product requirements including business rules, process flows and user scenarios; test upon completion to ensure the requirements have been met Work closely with user experience designers, software developers, the product manager and other product owners to provide guidance to the development of new features and functionality Responsible for the product backlog for one or more scrum teams - Contribute to the joint product roadmap while focusing on team specific backlogs Monitors and makes recommendations for improvement of platform capabilities as well as software development lifecycle processes and tools - Assist with shaping and improving processes as both a stakeholder and consumer of these processes Occasional travel possible ROLE COMPETENCIES:

GENERAL PURPOSE :

The Director of Digital Marketing role is responsible for building Luxor's digital marketing capabilities that will enable strategic growth across the portfolio of brands.

This role will guide overarching digital marketing across omni-channel routes to market including B2C, B2B, direct and reseller.

The Director of Digital Marketing will champion the creation of best in practice digital capabilities to create Luxor's Digital Center of Excellence that would include, but not limited to, the development of best practices in digital user experience, multi-brand website development, lead acquisition and lead generation, email marketing, paid digital marketing programs, CRM, paid social campaigns, UX creative development and back-end development.

The Director of Digital Marketing will build a deepening of Luxor's digital marketing capabilities, champion internal team mentorship, and implement optimal digital marketing processes that support Luxor's overall brand goals and scalable future growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities :
• Establish key digital capabilities and provide thought leadership across all digital marketing and web marketing strategies to achieve desired brand outcomes
• Partner with brand and cross functional leaders to understand their business goals and enable their digital growth through their respective channels.
• Create annual and long-term vision, budget planning for Luxor's digital marketing capabilities and strategies.
• Establish digital marketing key performance indicators (KPIs) across the digital ecosystem that tie to performance goals of the brand.
• Develop and provide leadership for an A-level digital marketing team
• Establish prioritization of digital marketing initiatives, communicate clearly to stakeholders, and resource appropriately.

• Lead website front end and back-end development re-platforming, working across multiple current websites platforms into one multi-branded Luxor site.

• Partner with sales leadership and operations to implement best practices on lead nurturing and acquisition, supporting digital initiatives across all stages of the acquisition funnel.

• Approve strategic imperatives, plans and metrics, to be executed by digital department peers and internal project teams.

GENERAL PURPOSE :

The Digital Marketing Specialitst is responsible for developing, implementing, and tracking digital marketing campaigns and activities that promote Luxor's brand and products through the use of email, social media, website pages, online product listings, SEO, blogs, and other initiatives in support of new business and customer sales goals.

This position will work cross-departmentally with the Luxor Sales team to ideate, develop, and finalize the strategy for marketing activities to drive increased sales.

The position will then execute these strategies, including the setup and management of emails, build-out and continuous improvement of logic flows, and drip campaigns using Salesforce's Pardot marketing automation platform to generate leads and drive engagement.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities :
• Drives the achievement of annual sales targets for Luxor Workspaces through marketing strategy & execution; drive measurable demand outcomes / results through increased contacts, leads and pipelines to support sales teams.
• Manages the email marketing automation platform (Pardot), and integrations with our Salesforce platform.
• Sets strategy for and manages email marketing campaigns and nurture programs; includes ideation, collaborative planning with sales, targeting, designing, executing, and reporting results.
• Increase email success metrics such as open and click-through rates by implementing testing methodologies.
• Analyze digital campaign results, identify areas of improvement, and recommend solutions to increase performance.
• Setup, launch, and analyze social media campaigns to build brand awareness with a focus on growing traffic.

Your Opportunity

As an Account Executive for the kindergarten through 8th grade library market your primary responsibility is to increase sales and generate growth across multiple product lines. The Account Executive, K-8 primary duty is the management of EBSCO’s customers. The AE is directly responsible for servicing all existing business relationships, securing the renewal of all existing subscriptions as well as selling upgrades and additional products. Responsible for generating new sales of EBSCO products and implementing and directing a growth plan for their territories in their assigned markets. This is an entry-level position.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Actively consult with our library partners to ensure their patron needs are being met through the acquisition of online reference databases
• Direct sale of EBSCO Information products to assigned accounts. Sales may be achieved by individual effort, or in conjunction with assigned Field Sales Representatives.
• Deal with customers on a very individualized basis, using your own judgment and discretion to decide the best course of action for every situation
• Participate in the training of customers on EBSCOhost and EBSCOadmin through online demos
• Achieve sales quota(s) for a given fiscal year as determined and announced by Sales Management
• Active in direct selling situations through telephone and email
• Actively participate in forming and implementing marketing strategies for own territory
• Create new, and modify existing, legal offers and contracts with customers

Primary Responsibilities
• Provide balanced sales coverage of accounts in your territory and grow business in both existing and new accounts
• Work in conjunction with the Vice President of Sales and Inside Account Executive
• Achieve an established new sales growth and renewal quota each fiscal year for EBSCO Information Services products
• Have quotes prepared, literature sent, and coordinate with the Account Executive to set up trials when appropriate
• Travel: (60%); including attendance of conferences and sales meetings as deemed necessary by Sales Management
• Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO Information Services’ products and competition
• Provide input from the market for product development and marketing purposes
• Develop sales strategy for your region for overall sales of EBSCO products

Required Qualifications
• At least three years of sales experience - previous experience selling into the medical field is preferred.

Overview

The Account Executive (AE) works to increase B2B sales and generate growth across all product lines for EBSCO Learning. The AE will have responsibility for multiple product lines. The successful AE will increase the customer base of EBSCO Learning by rigorously prospecting for new customers, following-up on marketing leads, and generating new sales of EBSCO Learning’s product line.
