Job Responsibilities:
• Coordinate systems and procedures of efficient data reporting throughout the district regarding special education, testing, student programs, grades, credits, summer school, special circumstances, out-of-district students, et.
• Extract district data from various source systems (e.g. student information system, Infinite Campus, etc.), payroll, personnel, accounting, ERP systems (e.g. USPS, USAS) and prepare data files to go to the state.
• Load the various data files into the EMIS Data Collector and execute the various steps necessary (e.g. prepare, preview, submit) to submit district data to ODE via EMIS through our Information Technology Center (ITC) at NEONET and possibly through the state ITC.
• Investigate and troubleshoot various error reports (e.g. Level 1, Level 2, etc.).
• Create and monitor helpdesk tickets to NEOnet as needed to report EMIS system problems.
• Review EMIS reports received from ODE and contact related staff in the correction of EMIS reports.
• Coordinate with other districts and/or community schools during problem investigation/resolution.
• Participate in district Data Quality Team meetings to review status of EMIS reporting throughout the school year and identify problem areas that needs to be addressed.
• Create and maintain a system of accountability for data reporting throughout the school district.
• Develop a routine system of data checkpoints and report verification (e.g. submitting S Period Collection and student cross references weekly).
• Interpret EMIS reporting requirements for the school district.
• Attend EMIS Coordinator meetings, seminars, workshops, conference calls, etc. hosted by source system developers (e.g. NEOnet, Infinite Campus, MEC, ESCCO, OAEP, ODE) to maintain accurate knowledge of EMIS requirements.
• Keep attendance of students, monitor daily attendance, call parents of absent students, report excessive attendance, and send documentation to stakeholders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Treasurer and/or Superintendent.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• Associate degree or higher or equivalent work history.
• EMIS/system reporting experience preferred.
• Experience using a student management database, Vector Solutions K-12 Edition, SchoolMint Enroll, Progressbook, DASL or similar experience.
• Professional experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to pass required background check.
• Ability to obtain required fingerprint clearance.
• Experience with meeting deadlines independently, effectively, and efficiently.

• Assists in matters related to premium billings and reconciliation of payments received.
• Performs assigned duties and tasks to meet departmental and corporate goals, improve operational skills and increase knowledge.
• Provides input for creation and maintenance of Enrollment policies and procedures.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
