Key Responsibilities
• Partner with social, PR, and research to create buzzworthy tentpole features and franchises that drive awareness of and excitement for our brands.
• Manage a team of freelance writers who write a mix of short newsy pieces, evergreen service, first-person essays, and longer-form stories about our original research and data.
• Collaborate with SEO to define new traffic opportunities in the pregnancy and parenting landscape, with an emphasis on leaning into new categories in which each brand has a right to win.
• Build visibility on new-to-us distribution channels, which could include Google Discover, Google News, Apple News, Flipboard, etc.
• Mentor and coach two senior editors.
Job Qualifications
• 7+ years of editing and team leadership experience at a major publication; experience with women’s health content preferred
