Job Summary:

This employee will be responsible for maintaining and utilizing our computerized inventory and job costing systems to process requisitions and purchase orders in order to procure supplies, equipment and services for our growing Facilities and Planning department.

Job Summary:

Eastern seeks an experienced program support professional to fill an immediate opening in our Public Health and Health Administration programs.

The Program Specialist 2 for the Public Health and Health Administration programs (PHHA) is responsible for general programmatic advising, program assessment activities at the direction of the Chair, student recruitment activities, and for coordinating program services and resources for multiple programs. Current programs include: Master of Public Health (MPH), BS in Healthcare Administration (HCAD), BA in HSAD Long-Term Care Administration (HSAD-LTC) and the BS in Health Information Technology Management (HITM). Position requires performance of tasks and application of knowledge unique to the programs. The supervisor for this position is the Department of PHHA Chairperson.

In summary the duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversees day-to-day program operations and resolves problems within assigned scope of authority;
• Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates operations of the assigned programs as delegated by the Chair;
• Interprets, reviews and applies program policies and procedures, and develops plans for carrying out program activities;

This position reports to the Chair of the Public Health and Health Administration (PHHA). This individual will act as the assistant to the Chair and primary contact for the PHHA. Job Summary:
The office of Enrollment Services at Eastern Washington University invites applications for Running Start Recruiter/ Program Specialist to support EWU Running Start. Under general supervision of the Associate Director of Dual Enrollment, this position will be responsible for recruitment and outreach, admissions and registration processes, and provide communications with students enrolled in Running Start at Eastern Washington University.
The position will be responsible for student engagement and operations and processes and will work collaboratively with high school personnel, Running Start students/parents, and university stakeholders. They will identify and connect with prospective Running Start students, attend recruitment events and visits, and provide communications regarding enrollment activities. The Running Start Recruiter/Program Specialist will assist with transition programming, serve as a point of contact, generate reports, and track eligibility requirements.

• In collaboration with high school administrators, counselors, teachers, Running Start students and parents, university stakeholders, and under the direction of the Associate Director, create, implement and coordinate in-person and virtual presentations, events and meetings communicating the benefits of the EWU Running Start program, and the processes for participating in the program to prospective students.
• In collaboration with Marketing/Communication, and Enrollment Services communication team, create and prepare marketing and support materials, packets, and other correspondence for prospective Running Start students/parents/and other stakeholders (paper, virtual, social media, etc.).
• In collaboration with the Assistant Director, identify future areas of strategic growth, and develop intentional outreach efforts to support unit goals.
• Develop methods and strategies for recruiting traditional and under-represented students into the EWU Running Start program
• Update and maintain inquiry databases, applicant databases, CRMs and other communication platforms; develop reports and proposals to enhance early outreach programs.
• Travel with staff or individually to work with area high school students and staff.
• Maintain the Running Start website and social media platforms.
• Serve as a point of contact for prospective Running Start students, responding to student questions and inquiries about programs, referring students to appropriate staff when necessary.
• Communicate both in writing and verbally with teachers, counselors, administrators, staff, students and parents/guardians regarding enrollment activities (i.e. on-site testing, testing results, program confirmation, enrollment verification, admission related questions etc.).
• Assist Running Start students with processes/transactions such as applications for admissions, and scheduling campus visits and orientations.
• Assist with Running Start transition programming including new student orientation, advising and registration days.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application errors.
• Ensure application processes are conducted in a timely manner through completion, including Banner coding of cohorts and credit totals.
• Revise the application, communications, and other Slate forms, as necessary.
• Generate required reports and maintain accurate departmental statistics for internal and external stakeholders. Provide enrollment reports to high schools as requested.
• Report weekly to the Associate Director and Director.
• Perform complex data and word processing tasks; merging and sorting spreadsheet and database files, uploading/downloading data.
