• Prepares and reviews project proposals or plans to determine time frame, funding limitations, and procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:
• BSME or BSEE required; MS or Ph.D. preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• PE License Required.
• CFEI or CFI Certification preferred.

Other Skills/Abilities or Other Qualifications:
• 5-10 years’ experience in forensic consulting working with the insurance and legal fields.
• Strong background in fire science and technology, fire protection, etc.; skilled in fire origin and cause investigation with a significant amount of experience in field investigative issues; thorough understanding of industry-accepted fire and explosion standards (NFPA, ASME, ASTM, etc.)
• Experience can range from structural fires to vehicle and heavy equipment fires.
• Some areas of expertise should include the following:
• Fire and explosion investigation
• Natural gas or propane generation, distribution and use
• Fire protection systems
• Test apparatus and fixtures
• Personal protection equipment

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Provides prompt, courteous technical support, achieving customer satisfaction through helpfulness and creativity.
2. Must understand applications and respond appropriately in all situations to make recommendations to customer relative to
effective use of Fike equipment.
3. Expected to multi-task with many projects relating to EP.
4. Participates in EP start-up situations or problem job site analysis and serves as consultant in difficult or unusual situations.

6. Travels to various facilities as required providing training, recertification and troubleshooting of problem sites.

13. Authorizes EP returns, assists repair department with analysis and diagnosis.
14. Assists supervisor in defining goals, accessing problems, and offering solutions.

The hiring range for this position dependent on final grade and title is $85,800 to $123,300 USD. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience. Job Overview

IEP Technologies, a subsidiary of HOERBIGER Safety Solutions, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to grow sales, enhance brand recognition, and develop distribution channels for our Explosion Protection product line in the HAZLOC processing industries. The ideal candidate should possess a technical understanding of manufacturing processes in combustible liquids and vapors, powder and bulk solids-handling industries, as well as experience with industrial fire protection or life safety equipment.

Compensation
• Annual Salary: $90,000.00

Responsibilities
• Meet or exceed revenue and profit targets in the assigned territory
• Provide accurate and timely sales opportunity forecasting
• Plan and organize sales visits, and deliver regular reports, market information, competitor insights, and customer feedback to enhance product and service development
• Travel within the territory, independently and with management, to engage with industrial manufacturing end users, engineering firms, distributors, and specifiers to secure orders for IEP/HOERBIGER Safety Solutions products
• Collect detailed technical information to support design and installation of static control products and systems
• Conduct product presentations to both large and small groups
• Foster strong relationships with other Explosion Protection Regional Managers to coordinate sales efforts for multi-territory and corporate opportunities
• Collaborate with Product Specialists on technical matters relating to the product line
• Act as a brand ambassador for the company, promoting all aspects of our product technology
• Cultivate contacts to maximize business opportunities and participate in trade shows

Requirements
• Minimum five years of business development experience in technical product sales, preferably in Fire and Life Safety or a related industry
• Selling experience in special hazards fire suppression or industrial process equipment such as dust collectors, mills, dryers, or material conveying preferred
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and deliver technical and sales presentations to end users, distributors, and influencers
• Experience in distribution/channel territory development and management is a plus
• Understanding of manufacturing process equipment
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering preferred; equivalent experience in technical sales or a related fire protection discipline will be considered
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time by air and automobile
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record

Job Description

We have an exciting and highly rewarding part-time Fire & Explosion Investigator opportunity in the Oklahoma, TX area. If you have your CFI, 5 years of practical experience in Fire & Explosion Investigation, enjoy a challenge and have a curious mind this is the opportunity for you.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Investigates & analyzes the origin and cause of fire and explosion events within residential, commercial, and industrial sites per NFPA 921 and 1033.
• Collects Evidence and Document scenes per NFPA 921 & 1033.
• Photographs incident site (and records when specifically required/requested) and preserves equipment/components, and stores evidence retrieved from the scene for further evaluation/review pending client’s written disposition instructions.
• Interviews witnesses, to include owner, occupants, tenants, etc. and canvasses neighborhood to identify other potential witnesses to record statements; interviews responding and investigating fire service personnel and other local officials, as to their actions associated with the incident.
• Identifies, documents, and analyzes compliance with the applicable codes of any installed fire suppression and detection system within a given building or property.
• Researches failure modes and code requirements as needed and prepares recommendations to present to stakeholders.
• Prepares accurate, clear, thorough, and concise reports and letters outlining the cause and origin of the damages to clients. Follows established policies, procedures, and processes in preparing information, exercising sound judgment in applying these to potentially unusual or complicated situations, and submits reports and documents in a timely manner and in accordance with client’s standards and expectations.
• Proactively works with multi-disciplinary teams on large and complex assignments while contributing, as an effective member of the team, assisting co-workers as needed, and learning from colleagues and supervisors.
• Identifies possible subrogation and/or liability issues, i.e., products and/or services associated with the incident and retrieval of related reports/documentation.
• Provides deposition or expert testimony, as a fact or expert witness, for product liability cases, civil or federal court cases, and, occasionally, criminal cases. Investigates and may testify in a deposition or courtroom setting, about the cause, extent or source of damages or professional liability.
• Maintains established relationships with current clients and consultants.

Required Skills/Abilities/Experience:
• 5+ years of experience as a fire investigator – a combination of Public and Private sector experience is ideal (a combination of education and experience will be considered).
• IAAI CFI required or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• NAFI-CFEI certification required
• Must be bondable and eligible for licensing as a private investigator where so required, some jurisdictions require written testing for licensing.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in catastrophic environments, such as the aftermath of natural disasters, weather events, etc., for an extended period.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in a work capacity.

Preferred Skills/Abilities/Experience:
• Experience with commercial and industrial facilities is desired.
• Experience working with law firms and insurance companies is a plus.

Education:
• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is preferred
