Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate proposed changes for air permitting and air compliance requirements and needs
• Execute air permitting actions for upstream and midstream assets, including greenfield sites and modifications to existing facilities
• Prepare air emission inventory calculations and reports, and emission event calculation support and guidance for business units; Execute Promax model simulations
• Assist divisions with facility design recommendations to minimize air emissions and meet State and Federal requirements
• Prepare guidance and training on air permitting & compliance requirements for BU regulatory & operations staff
• Perform and assist in environmental audits, compliance tracking & resolution
• Act as liaison between the BU and state and federal agencies as required. Participate in agency inspections, as needed.
• Conduct internal environmental compliance assurance reviews, focused on air emissions and air regulations
• Perform regulatory research with recommendations appropriate for both operations and management levels
• Develop air compliance matrices and implementation guidance based on air permits and regulations
• Support data management projects such as development of systems and workflows to streamline technical permitting work, emission inventories and air compliance management
• Work closely with multiple functions in work activities including Business Unit Environmental & Regulatory staff, Engineering and Operations; Consultants; Law; Public & Government Affairs; Management
Job Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related applicable degree
• Substantial working knowledge of Federal and State Air regulations is required
• 5+ years Upstream oil & gas and/or midstream experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter and can work as an individual contributor as well as in a team
• High level of attention to detail and follow-through
• Able to build working relationships with midstream and production personnel to accomplish environmental goals and sustain compliance
• Able to project manage multiple work activities at a time, using prioritization and organization skills
• Able to work well with and interface with contacts across multiple levels of the organization, including presentations appropriate for management levels
• Working knowledge of PROMAX, HYSYS and other simulation software
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office computer software; Visio
• Able to travel intermittently to business units located in the United States (10-20%)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• In depth knowledge of oil and gas facilities engineering and design, including control devices such as flares and VRUs
• Able to build complex facility models using PROMAX, HYSYS
• Well-versed with upstream oil & gas regulation requirements and reporting such as GHGRP Subpart W, NSPS OOOOa, Engine Rules (ZZZZ, JJJJ)
• Title V permitting experience preferred

What role you will play in our team
• The Social Media Community Advisor serves as the lead community manager and engagement specialist for ExxonMobil along with being an integral member of the broader communications team. As an experienced professional who is passionate about the industry and is dedicated to the advancement of ExxonMobil’s brand, this leader works in close partnership with the Corporate Public & Government Affairs team to proactively manage the reputation of the company through comprehensive and strategic social media community management and engagement programs
• This position will handle the strategic and day-to-day activities associated with social media community management and engagement, including management of brand mentions across owned accounts, mine earned social mentions for engagement opportunities, optimize engagement workflows, identify engagement trends, and working cross-departmentally to deliver consistent and focused external messaging. They will be responsible for advancing community management within our owned accounts, coordinating social media engagement tactics in support of major announcements, activities and crises, as well as proactive, integrated communications plans to protect and promote the corporation’s reputation
• The Social Media Community Advisor will also exemplify collaboration, assisting colleagues across the broader communications team with internal, media, marketing, and financial communications. S/he will be an innovative and creative thinker, who is always looking for new ways to reach the right audience with the best messages that support the corporate objectives

What you will do
• Monitor and manage brand mentions across major social networks and actively mine social conversations for relevant information and opportunities to engage
• Manage high levels of inbound conversations, proactively identifying efficiencies
• Coordinate with the Social Media Manager and other key team members to ensure the synchronization of brand voice and messaging
• Work with strategists, content creators, brand and business line teams to plan, forecast, and report for social media care programs
• Collect and analyze information from multiple data sources, ensuring data is reliable, using technical expertise and tools to uncover insights, statistics and trends
• Responsible providing insight and analysis as to what the numbers mean for daily operations as well as long-term strategy for care

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree minimum (in journalism, communications, public relations, political science, English, literature, or classics preferred); advanced degree in policy-related discipline also advantageous
