immediate need for Fall 2022 (semester starting August 29, see

is two sections of Ethics, Monday and Thursday 10:00 AM - 11:15 AM
and 11:30 AM - 12:45 PM Eastern. These are scheduled to meet in
person on our Florham Campus at 285 Madison Avenue, Madison NJ, but
for an exceptional candidate we could explore moving them
online.Ethics is a Gen Ed requirement at FDU: all our students have
to take it. We are looking for someone who can teach the subject
responsibly, from a philosophical standpoint, but in a way that is
interactive, engaging, relevant to students' lives, and maybe even
fun.The ideal candidate would have a PhD in Philosophy with
specialization in ethics. We will be happy to consider you if you
have any advanced degree in Philosophy or a related field, even if
you are currently in graduate school, as long as you have
experience with ethics or moral philosophy and can show some
evidence of excellence in teaching. If you have a background in
Theology or religious instruction, you are welcome to apply as long
as you appreciate that FDU is not religiously affiliated and any
teaching you do for us should not advance any particular religious

Job Summary:

The Receptionist/Data Entry Clerk is responsible for managing front
desk operations and assisting the professional admissions staff.
Responsibilities include personal and telephone contact with the
public, and other university offices, producing various reports as
needed, assisting with campus daily tours and special events and
data entry on the Admissions CRM system, and general office
duties.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of commercial courses related to office skills and two
or more years of experience in an office environment. 2.
Computerized data entry experience. 3. Strong human relations and
oral communication skills. 4. Employment is contingent upon a
satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES :
• Participates in the coordination of Supervised Clinical Practice Experiences in the Clinical Phase of the PA Program.
• Actively participates in the processes of designing, implementing, coordinating and evaluating the curriculum (A2.05g) preparing syllabi for all courses in the Clinical Phase of the program.
• Assists in the analysis of supervised clinical practice experiences for appropriateness of settings, patient demographics, types of patient interactions and diagnoses.
• Assists in the scheduling of required and elective supervised clinical experiences.
• Provides student instruction for an equivalent of one-two courses workload per semester (A2.05c).
• Prepares and reviews exams, collaborates with faculty in test construction. Participates in the analysis of item performance and overall test construction.
• Evaluates student performance (A2.05d) and monitors progress.
• Assists in the analysis of clinical curriculum outcomes.
• Assists in the analysis of student evaluations of rotations and preceptors.
• Actively participates in the process of selecting applicants for admission to the PA Program (A2.05b).
• Participates in clinical site visits as assigned.
• Actively participates in the remediation process of students of remedial instruction, when needed (A2.05f).
• Serves as a faculty advisor for PA students, meets with students, provides counseling, and assures appropriate intervention, when required. (A2.05e).

Required Qualifications:
Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience
Academic experience (preferred)

Education: Graduate of an ARC -PA accredited PA Program
Masters degree (MS, MPA, MPH), Doctorate preferred

Certification: Licensure:
NCCPA Certification
Licensed as a PA
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
1 day a week dedicated to Clinical Practice or Research
Available weekends for Campus Events (e.g. Campus Visit Days)

Note: As per the 5th edition of the ARC-PA Standards (effective September 2020), two principal faculty members must be hired by the institution on a permanent basis at least 9 months prior to the date of the scheduled site visit (D1.01c).
