What you’ll do:
As a Business Analyst in the Innovation & Digital Factory organization at FirstEnergy (I&DF), you will join a digital transformation team working in an Agile environment and provide support and expertise to squads and team members working to deliver specific products. As a member of the Innovation & Agile team, you will provide strategic support across I&DF by coordinating and leading efforts in capability development analysis and reporting, pipeline management and prioritization, and value realization. Furthermore, you will:
• Develop and lead analysis and reporting activities for I&DF (e.g. Objectives and Key Results, Capability Development, Performance Metrics, etc.).
• Coordinate with squads to define, implement, and track Agile performance metrics in development and product performance metrics once solution enters production.
• Participate in agile events, such as backlog refinement and sprint planning, to support squads and Product Owners with writing user stories and other related activities, where needed.
• Work collaboratively with I&DF team members and Business Unit stakeholders to evaluate and assess new opportunities – building business cases and supporting value assurance of digital solutions.
• Drive the opportunity intake process, working across I&DF and with stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and identify initiatives for development.
• Support interaction with team members and business stakeholders, facilitating workshops, presentations, and updating playbooks, etc. as needed.
What You Will Need to be Qualified:
• A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or another related field along with 4 years of related experience. In lieu of a degree, 6 years of related experience.
• Related experience will include general experience in business strategy, project and program management, business analytics, and reporting.
• Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams as an analyst. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus.
• Experience with basic quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques to support cost-benefit analysis, business case development, forecasting, or similar activities.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools, such as PowerBI.
• Experience with Agile project management and development platforms, such as Azure DevOps, is a plus.
• Ability to research and quickly learn industry trends / domains and end user demands from pain points, then apply them to practical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with ability to present complex messages and trade-offs and tell a compelling story.
• Experience in providing customer-focused support, both internally and externally.

Summary
This position supervises and coordinates the IT operations and staff responsible for the development, enhancement, integration, and support of the Human Resources and Supply Chain business units’ applications and systems. The position ensures that operational, procedural, and regulatory requirements are met. In addition, it is a communication point between IT and the business portfolio to ensure delivery on critical technology initiatives. The successful candidate will also perform normal supervisor duties with ownership oversight of areas including budgeting, staffing, project management, work management, and vendor management. RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Walks to meter location; checks meter number to number on hand-held unit display.
2. Reads dials of electric watt-hour meters, demand indicators, and other meters.
3. Examines meters for: broken seals, broken glass, and loose meter parts, unsafe conditions such as bare cable, unauthorized use, stopped meters and any other abnormal conditions.
4. Answers customer's meter reading inquiries by application of Company policies and procedures.
5. Reports defective Company equipment, dogs, hazardous conditions, or incidents which may impair service or create safety concerns.
