The Team

Your Impact

As a Senior Product Designer on the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the design strategy and driving the execution of new and existing features for the Flipp app. Your responsibilities extend beyond individual projects, serving as a role model within our Research & Design organization. We are looking for a Software Engineer II to work within an engineering team to design and develop features, fix bugs, review code, and write and design automated tests for one or more of Flipp's systems in order to provide business value to the company. You will provide technical leadership to the team and guide the team in making technical decisions and developing solutions. You'll guide the design of large projects for the team, and across multiple engineering teams, provide mentorship for all developers to help grow the technical capabilities of the team, and contribute to larger technical initiatives across the engineering organization, not just within your own team.

As a Coordinator on the Payroll Operations team, you will work on managing and processing court ordered wage garnishment orders.

You will work across the organization to research and resolve a variety of garnishment related inquiries. You will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise on best practices as a specialist in Justworks systems.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On
• Complete all necessary work as it pertains to incoming and outgoing mail utilizing our mailing vendor
• Execute day-to-day operations for Justworks payroll system including managing court ordered wage garnishments, IRS notices and adjustments, and verifying other relevant customer payroll data
• Identify and resolve garnishment processing discrepancies in Justworks system
• Manage electronic income withholding orders, including sending acknowledgements and terminations
• Respond to questions and requests from various teams at Justworks, including the Customer Success team
• Assist with maintaining the internal resource center regarding Payroll Operations’ policies and procedures
• Work with our Finance team for weekly garnishment check activities and monthly reconciliation
• Perform other related duties as assigned

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $28.13 to $30.94 per hour.

With the recent increase in costs of living, Flipp's mission has never been more relevant. Flipp's Shopper Consideration Platform allows retailers and manufacturers to create digital experiences from their savings & deals content. These experiences help Shoppers decide what to buy and where to buy it. Flipp then connects those retailer and manufacturer experiences to millions of shoppers through Flipp's owned and operated channels.

As an Accounts Receivable Coordinator, you will be responsible for accurately invoicing our customers, investigating and resolving billing and receivables inquiries, ensuring timely collections and application of cash receipts, and recording relevant revenue and receivables transactions accurately and timely.
What you'll get the opportunity to do:
• Invoicing & Billing
• Review system-generated invoices and make necessary billing adjustments for all retailers and create manual invoices where system limitations arise
• Manage retailer requests and resolve billing inquiries on a daily basis
• Accounts Receivable & Collections
• Drive action from retailers to ensure all outstanding accounts are collected within payment terms, while responding to internal and external inquiries and requests as they arise
• Review and post daily cash receipts recorded by the Outsourcing team
• Record non-retailer deposits as journal entries in the General Ledger
• Prepare weekly updates to management and Sales team to provide visibility on the status of outstanding receivables and holding the Sales team accountable to follow up on delinquent accounts
• Identify and monitor any at-risk accounts that may require being written off
• Support Financial Close Procedures
• Ensure all month-end revenue adjustments are recorded and reflected on invoices, including discounts, voids and make-goods
• Prepare deferred revenue draw-down journal entries in the General Ledger on a monthly basis
• Special Projects
• Continuously assess existing billing and receivables processes and recommend improvements, where necessary
• Assist with execution of ad-hoc projects related to process improvements to support the Accounts Receivable team

What you'll bring to the team:
• 3+ years of Accounts Receivable, or related, experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel basics
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains or other accounting software is considered an asset
