JOB SUMMARY:

This position performs as a business analyst and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy working on teams with computer systems and problem solving, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:
• Coordinating with business processes, technical team members, contract team members and outside agencies
• Analyzing existing and new business requirements to determine gaps and provide solutions.
• Developing system software testing strategies, scenarios, scripts, and results matrices.
• Performs all project testing and implementation activities.
• Performing problem/defect analysis and testing of system functionality.
• Preparing reports, presentations, issues, and options papers and gathering supporting documentation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
• 2 years of experience working with Child Support Automated Management System (CAMS)
• 2 years of experience communicating with internal and external partners both verbally and in writing
• 2 years of experience preparing written materials such as reports, presentations, briefing papers, analysis and options papers
• 2 years of experience researching, analyzing, and evaluating financial issues or data to solve problems or develop recommendations

• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with an ability to work independently.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications.

Institute Budget and Financial Management
• Responsible for financial management and operations including coordination of annual budget efforts for the institute, review all departmental budget requests, allocation of funds, and UF Foundation accounts.
• Oversee and provide guidance for pilot and extramural grant award budgetary needs with respect to applications, competing and non-competing reviews for the CTSA awards and work across the UF enterprise to provide accurate financial information needed for these awards, budget preparations, etc.
• Provide fiscal analysis and feedback for the CTSI strategic plan.
• Work regularly with UF Core offices to ensure the CTSI is informed of University-wide updates.
• Oversee budgeted funds for the college including State, DOCE, Overhead, Grants, Auxiliary, and Foundation accounts.
• Monitor and reconcile funding sources and balances for the college with regular communication to applicable stakeholders.
