• Effectively communicate to department heads and all employees. Create a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Provide training and development opportunities to team members.
• Responsible for all aspects of financial statements and ensuring station compliance with Scripps' policies regarding those statements. Responsible for station operating and capital expense budgets.
• Enforce all FCC, EEO, SOX and any other appropriate rules and regulations.

The Account Executive will be responsible for growing existing business and developing new business to maximize client’s ROI and goals.

• Proactively maintain and grow an established list of agency buyers, planners, and direct clients
• Drive new advertising revenue through direct sales across all media platforms
• Oversee and steward all aspects of the account to ensure the schedule runs correctly, meets client’s KPIs and delivers successfully
• Develop marketing solutions and presentations to key decision makers and buyers.
• Establish credible relationship with existing businesses and strong emphasis on developing new business
• Makes virtual or in-person presentations to agency buyers and planners or local advertisers. Books orders and negotiates spot placement and rates based on the parameters for rate negotiations set by sales management and the advertiser parameters for each advertising campaign.

• Ability to work independently and have a strong sense of accountability

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $64,869.00-65,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

We're looking for a Promotion Producer to join FOX 11 & KCOP 13's in-house creative team. Work alongside our Creative Director, Managers, Editors, and Designers to conceptualize, write, and edit compelling promos in the nation's 2nd largest market. From producing on-air topical, programming and image promos to creating sales reels and TV Upfront presentations, this position plays a vital role in the success of our station!
Working with your supervisors, you'll handle the complete production process. This includes pre-production planning, scripting, supervising voice-over talent and graphic designers, creative editing, sound design and final packaging of promos. You will also be responsible for directing anchors, lighting/camera crew members and reporters. Using on-air, OTT and digital platforms, you'll contribute to the team's success of creating effective audience-targeted promotion. Must be a highly organized, dependable, creative problem solver. Perform other duties as needed, and as directed by the Creative Services Director and Department Managers.
