This role is defined as a Customer Success Manager for an incubation product we intend to bring to the market in the near future. This product will be complex, and you’ll become the primary point of contact for this product once a sales cycle has been completed. You will actively connect and engage with customers, utilizing a consultative approach to identify customer needs. This role is vital to our growth and success, and this individual will earn the position of a trusted advisor for this product and will become a true advocate for the customer. If this is something that appeals to your ambition, preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience selling into complex fields like engineering, manufacturing, chemical processing, geospatial, operations research, architecture, or logistics.
What You'll Do:
• Be accountable for ensuring overall success of customers for this solution through adoption, training, usage, expansion
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to include deliverables (e.g., deployment schedules, training requirements, and quarterly strategy/roadmap meetings)
• Develop tools for creating relevant and personalized experiences that drive outcomes at each stage of the customer lifecycle
• Proactively identify areas of concern/risk and/or opportunities through technical expertise
• Coordinate activities of internal resources required to align with customer goals
• Drive adoption of solutions through ongoing communication with the stakeholders/users throughout the organization
• Collaborate with sales executives to assist in driving cross-sell/upsell opportunities and maintaining consistent growth objectives.
• Collaborate with technical, marketing, and product teams and share pertinent customer feedback to drive product roadmaps
• Advocate for the customer internally and drive to improve operational processes for greater customer success
• Develop a high level of product knowledge to provide best-in-class guidance
What You’ll Need:
• 2 - 5 years of experience with SaaS software sales as an Account Manager
• Ability to be in the Alpharetta office 3-4 times per week
• Experience selling to large organizations within complicated domains
• Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels
• Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organizations
• A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting, and completion of planned deliverables
• Business acumen, sound decision-making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
• Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo, always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned clients
• Strong analytical skills
• Proficiency with CRM software and an aptitude for learning new systems
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
• Ability to travel up to 40% to meet with clients and prospects
