Components of the job:

The Senior Frontend Engineer is an essential role within the Engineering Department, reporting to a Team Lead under the Director of Engineering. This position focuses on developing and maintaining the frontend aspect of software applications, primarily using React, TypeScript, and GraphQL. Must Haves:
• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience in frontend development with strong product sense and a keen eye for detail in UI / UX design and implementation.
• 5+ years experience in React or Angular and TypeScript.
• Experience with React Native/Expo and/or Next.js is a plus.
• Familiarity with modern frontend development tools, test libraries (e.g. Jest and Testing Library), and best practices.
• Experience in software architecture design and implementation.
• Proficient in code review, debugging, and problem-solving.
• Strong skills in performance optimization and implementing security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to document complex systems effectively.
• Ability to manage incidents and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest frontend technologies and practices.
• Experience in Startup Environments is a Plus.
