Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant II reports to the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts and will work in an exciting, fast-paced, and challenging environment that often involves multitasking and managing a variety of projects and requests simultaneously. This is the first person that visitors and individuals seeking help encounter. As such, the Administrative Assistant II is a vital member of the team responding to internal and external demands. This position frequently handles sensitive and/or highly confidential material.
Responsibilities •
Provides administrative support and assistance to the Dean, the Associate Deans and the Dean’s staff of the School of Liberal Arts, including making appointments, scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, maintaining calendars, and assisting with special projects.

Assists public by providing general information or referral by telephone, mail or in person.
•
Manages daily operations of the School of Liberal Arts including maintenance of office supplies and electronic files.
•
Prepares correspondence, presentations, charts, or other material for meetings and events as requested.
•
Coordinates and/or supports various activities or events involving several different constituencies for the Dean and other staff members.
•
Organizes and publishes events in the weekly SLA PawPrint.
•
Coordinates with Communications to ensure accuracy of the SLA web presence and SLA social media accounts.
•
Assists as needed with the planning and execution of events.
•
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications

Job Summary
The Director of Development will be responsible for conducting and coordinating specialized and ongoing programs to raise funds, particularly major gifts, and cultivating relationships with donors. Reporting to the Executive Director of Individual Engagement, the Director of Development will be responsible for strategic and effective management of a portfolio of 150+ major gift prospects. In coordination with Advancement colleagues, the Director of Development also will encourage the full participation of his/her portfolio in the annual giving and alumni relations programs, moving them through the solicitation cycle and providing appropriate follow-up and stewardship activities that ensure donors’ continued commitment to the college.
Responsibilities
• Identify, cultivate and solicit major gift prospects for assigned constituents and areas, collaborating with college colleagues; Perform major gift prospect identification, research and internal and external communications for assigned areas, both independently and collaboratively with college colleagues and/or key volunteers.
• Makes personal visits to prospects to cultivate their interest in GGC and solicit financial support; steward existing relationships, as assigned, and prepare reports for these donors reflecting the uses of their gifts.
• Create effective and impactful solicitation proposals and other communications to prospects based on GGC priorities and prospect interest.
• Oversee the coordination of area-related advisory councils, societies or Boards of Visitors, as assigned.
• Assist college colleagues in building the resources necessary for successful prospect/donor relationship development and fundraising, as assigned.
• Participate in short-range and long-range strategic planning with the Executive Director of Individual Engagement to develop and implement comprehensive fundraising goals, objectives and plans. This will include creating and implementing an effective management, evaluation, and reporting system for assigned development priorities.

Required Qualifications

Job Summary
The Equal Opportunity and Title IX Compliance Investigator shall assist the Office of Equal Opportunity and Title IX Compliance in efforts to investigate allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, including alleged violations of Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX. Responsibilities

• Remain knowledgeable of current state and federal laws and regulations (EEO, Title IX, Clery, and VAWA) and trends in the field of education related to harassment, discrimination, misconduct, and other policy violations of the College and University System of Georgia
• Work collaboratively with diverse constituencies including students, staff and faculty
• Assist in the response to inquiries and complaints processes for students, faculty, staff, administrators and third parties regarding rights and responsibilities concerning EEO, harassing or other discriminatory behaviors and violations of Title IX

Required Qualifications
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree

Job Summary
The Director of Development will be responsible for conducting and coordinating specialized and ongoing programs to raise funds, particularly major gifts, and cultivating relationships with donors. Reporting to the Executive Director of Individual Engagement, the Director of Development will be responsible for strategic and effective management of a portfolio of 150+ major gift prospects. In coordination with Advancement colleagues, the Director of Development also will encourage the full participation of his/her portfolio in the annual giving and alumni relations programs, moving them through the solicitation cycle and providing appropriate follow-up and stewardship activities that ensure donors' continued commitment to the college.
Responsibilities
• Identify, cultivate and solicit major gift prospects for assigned constituents and areas, collaborating with college colleagues; Perform major gift prospect identification, research and internal and external communications for assigned areas, both independently and collaboratively with college colleagues and/or key volunteers.
• Makes personal visits to prospects to cultivate their interest in GGC and solicit financial support; steward existing relationships, as assigned, and prepare reports for these donors reflecting the uses of their gifts.
• Create effective and impactful solicitation proposals and other communications to prospects based on GGC priorities and prospect interest.
• Oversee the coordination of area-related advisory councils, societies or Boards of Visitors, as assigned.
• Assist college colleagues in building the resources necessary for successful prospect/donor relationship development and fundraising, as assigned.

As a sworn Peace Officer, the incumbent creates and maintains a safe and secure environment for community members to engage in the pursuit of higher education, visitation of guests, and security of campus properties. Responsible for maintaining and delivering library services to the academic community; serves as a support position to the Access Services Department; facilitates the circulation of library materials; participates in resource sharing activities; keeps departmental statistics. Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining and delivering library services to the academic community; serves as a support position to the Access Services Department; facilitates the circulation of library materials; participates in resource sharing activities; keeps departmental statistics. This position reports to the Head of Access Services.
Responsibilities
• Provides assistance at Circulation Desk as needed
• Assists in Resource Sharing/Lending functions including interlibrary loan and GIL Express transactions
• Assists in the collection and maintenance of statistics and preparation of regularly scheduled reports
• Responsible for blocking/unblocking student accounts for library holds. Sends invoices for lost items, including GIL Express and ILL items
• Assists in ordering general library supplies for the department
• Assists in the supervision of student assistants and LAIs
• Works on special projects as assigned using report writing, word processing, or spreadsheet computer software
• Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• 2 Year / Associate Degree
Preferred Qualifications
• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree
• Two or more years experience in a library setting
• Professional library experience in a staff position
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
• Knowledge of basic library practices or ability to become knowledgeable in basic library methods and techniques
• Evidence of strong communication and organizational skills
• Customer service experience
