In this role you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance HackerRank’s products and services as well as our global customers to implement, optimize, and scale their technical hiring practices.
You will be working on:
• Helping tech forward companies interview, select, and hire top talent using HackerRank’s products and services
• Strengthening our mission to help companies hire for skills rather than pedigree
• Advising customers about professional best practices and assessment trends
• Understanding our customers unique needs and designing/scoping professional services projects to address them
• A variety of testing and selection-related consulting work such as:
• Optimizing technical assessment and selection processes
• Conducting job analysis studies (e.g., focus groups with subject matter experts, surveys)
• Designing, planning and conducting content or criterion-related validity studies
• Creating technical reports
• Conducting analyses of assessment data and related information
• Advising our product and marketing teams on initiatives and products related to the science of assessment
• Summarizing complex technical information and data into compelling stories; communicating to high-level, non-technical audiences
We are looking for:
• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a closely related field required
• Flexibility and adaptability to consult with customers across the globe
• High level of initiative and a strong bias for action
• Collaboration skills, building and maintaining effective working relationships
• Outstanding critical thinking and writing skills
• Ability to communicate well and make compelling presentations to customers
• Ability to deliver in a remote, asynchronous environment at the pace of a hyper-growth start-up
• Flexibility with working hours, collaborating with clients and peers across different time zones
• 3+ years of professional experience working directly with customers to develop, implement and validate pre-employment assessments (i.e., job analysis, criterion validation, content validation)
• Strong technical knowledge (e.g., psychometrics, job analysis and validation, legal requirements, statistics) and the ability to apply it in practical ways to contribute to projects
• Experience managing and delivering job analysis and test validation projects
• Demonstrated proficiency with statistical analysis using common statistical packages (e.g., SPSS, R)
