About the Role...
The HSE Regional Specialist will assist in the development of safety and health programs. Supervise and coordinate HSE Programs. Responsible for, administering, and implementing the Safety Training Programs in assigned region. Travel to company locations within region to ensure compliance with SMS.
What You'll Do
• Ensure compliance with applicable American Equipment Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.
• Responsible for safety programs and conducting special safety training with supervisors. Responsible for updating site safety manual and prepare/ update the site safety training materials. Inspect sites for compliance with safety regulations and safe actions.
• Supervise the maintenance of logs, OSHA records and reports and legally required and necessary to identify specific problem areas in accident prevention. Give functional guidance to supervisors to assure thorough investigation and prompt reporting of accidents and fires.
• Responsible for administration of Workman's Compensation Claims. Supervise the processing of claims, approve medical service for industrial injuries, investigate specific cases to determine industrial liability, and report. Investigate and document all third-party claims arising out of accidents occurring to non-employees on company property.
• Develop, supervise, and coordinate Safety Training Programs mandated by Plant, company, corporate, and state or federal regulations.
• Supervise and coordinate HSE programs. Evaluate surveys and recommend corrective actions to assure safe and healthful working conditions throughout the plant. (i.e. hearing conservation, blood borne pathogens, air sampling, asbestos, personal protective equipment and others as required by standards and regulations)
• Responsible for administering and implementing the Safety Training Programs. Supervise training records on each employee, showing training program performance.
• Facilitate accident investigation; Work with site management to conduct timely and accurate incident investigation and root cause analysis
• Conduct process hazard analysis and site assessments (risk, training, environmental, regulatory and HSE) as needed.
• Proactively address safety issues and provide personal leadership through compliance with company policy, personal behavior and attitude.
• Prepare monthly HSE incident summaries, and/or support delegation of the same as required.
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Maintain compliance with Third Party Administrator's ( ISNetWORLD, Avetta) sites for regional locations (including uploading safety documents, man hours and incident reports)
What we are looking for
• Education: Bachelor Degree. Preferably in Safety, Loss Control or related field. Related work experience may be substituted for some or all of required education.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years working experience in HSE, auditing, and the regulatory environment in the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of Cal OSHA desired

We are looking for a Quality Coordinator / HSE for our Mequon facility. In this role you will be responsible for auditing products, processes and materials to ensure conformance to Quality and HSE requirements. Maintaining and updating procedures and written plans, actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives for quality and safety programs follow... company policies and procedures, and engages in the company core values. The position will provide support for Quality department activities such as part inspections, overseeing and performing gage calibrations. Responsible conducting safety and environmental training, orientation training, and the completion of specific government reports as required per Oerlikon standards.
Your Responsibilities:
• Support Quality department by auditing parts to ensure conformance to requirements by performing routine inspections, using standard instructions, gages and equipment.
• Visual inspection of product to appropriate standards.
• Participate in the disposition of non-conforming product as required.
• Identifies production improvements for quality issues and process improvements, including identify possible solutions and assist with implementation.
• Coordinates production trial runs to investigate part quality issues and process improvements, including reporting results to project team, recommending next action sand implementing improvements.

Your Profile:
• Associates Degree preferably in Quality, Safety, Manufacturing Technology or equivalent experience may substitute
• 3+ years of experience in a Quality or Safety role within a manufacturing and/or production environment
• 1+ year of experience implementing and executing quality or HSE system standards is required (such as IATF 16949, ISO 9001, AS9001, ISO14001, ISO45001)
• Experience using MS Office (i.e., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access) is required
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand eye coordination and the ability to adjust focus.
