Ready to join us?
Were looking for an Engineer with React Native experience as well as iOS and/or Android experience to join Hudls Mobile Platform Team. As an engineer on this team, youll extend and maintain Hudls React Native platform to help product teams deliver mobile features to customers. Youll also support product teams as they use React Native and prepare for new iOS/Android releases and app store restrictions. As part of these responsibilities, youll contribute to the TypeScript, Swift, and Kotlin layers of Hudls React Native platform. Youll also perform React Native upgrades for both the platform and apps each quarter.
Our flexible work policy means you can decide where you want to work: our Lincoln HQ, our Omaha office or remotely within the majority of U.S. states (exceptions: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Montana, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington).
You Are
• Experienced in React Native. You have extensive experience in React Native and have performed multiple React Native upgrades. You are experienced with the tools used for React Native development and are proficient in modern React concepts such as hooks.
• Knowledgeable in iOS and/or Android. You have experience with iOS and/or Android and understand the importance of having a robust native layer below React Native features. You are comfortable working with Swift and/or Kotlin.
• Willing to learn. You have solid mobile engineering skills but are always willing to dive into specific areas to gain the expertise needed to be successful in your role.
• Excited about helping others be productive. The idea of working on a platform team that builds robust software behind a well-designed API to accelerate development for other teams sounds exciting to you.
• A mentor at heart. You find mentoring others rewarding so seek out opportunities to level up others in your area of expertise.
• Dedicated to delivering quality work. You want your team to get things done and done well and are willing to wear many hats to make this happen.
You Will
• Extend and maintain Hudls React Native platform. To support teams working on customer-facing mobile features, youll be extending and maintaining the TypeScript, Swift, and Kotlin layers of Hudls React Native platform. To ensure the platform is reliable, well-maintained, and easy to use, youll think carefully about API design and your work will include quality tests and documentation. Having both iOS and Android experience will be beneficial when designing the cross-platform API but experience with only 1 is sufficient.
• Serve as a consultant to teams developing for mobile. With your knowledge of React Native and iOS and/or Android, youll support teams working in the mobile space by answering questions and providing feedback on pull requests, design reviews, and project plans upon request.
• Be an involved team member. You will actively participate in scrum ceremonies and proactively and thoughtfully create tickets for the teams backlog.
• Stay current with mobile trends and strategies. The mobile landscape is constantly changing and staying current will help you ensure that Hudls React Native platform evolves in a healthy way to support changing environments and new use-cases.
We Will
• Champion work-life harmony. Well give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
• Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but youll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
• Encourage career growth. Were lifelong learners who encourage professional development. Well give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
• Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether youre at the office or working remotely, well provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
• Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
• Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure youll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
• Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, thats free money. Well match up to 4% of your own contribution.

Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.
Ready to join us?
We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to help us build the next version of Hudl for American High School sports.
The landscape for technology in the American high school sports space is rapidly maturing. More and more sports are integrating video and data into their practices and games. We are adding to the team that is taking Hudl into the future of these teams. More angles of higher quality video are available to teams every season. More accurate stats for every performance, on and off the field. We need to craft meaningful video plus data experiences for all our coaches and athletes. Specifically, we are going to be expanding the set of custom built solutions into new sports like Wrestling.
As a qualified candidate, you have experience guiding design projects across the entire product lifecycle, from finding opportunities to designing and validating solutions. Youll work with a small multi-disciplinary team, partnering closely with engineering, product and business folks to find practical solutions to design problems. Together, youll solve problems and come up with solutions that delight our users. Youll take full ownership of your work and responsibility for every last detail with support from your fellow Competitive Business Unit designers. Youll rapidly prototype and learn by making, knowing when to apply low and high fidelity.
Our flexible work policy means you can decide where you want to work: our Lincoln HQ, our Omaha office or remotely within the majority of U.S. states (exceptions: Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, D.C., Hawaii, Maine, Montana, New York, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington). #LI-Remote
You Are
• Interested in working in a fast paced prototype-driven environment.
• Respectfully blunt when giving and receiving feedback and critique.
• Understanding that technical, business, and design constraints factor into every choice.
• Able to tease out the important characteristics of users, their environments, and work tasks to drive an intuitive experience.
• Able to work with stakeholders and others in a multi-disciplinary team to define requirements and develop the solution.
• A communicator and use those communication skills to help set up frameworks and brainstorm initial design concepts.
• A people-focused designer. Even though you have strong design chops, you are constantly looking to hone your design instinct through user feedback, or by designing options for an A/B test.
You Will
• Guide small, cross-functional teams in creating and shipping clear and focused user experiences
• Perform user research to understand latent needs beyond just the basics of what users say they want
• Rough out concepts to test with developers, QA, and the product manager
• Sketch, mock, and prototype key interactions often throwing big pieces out when it doesn't click in a user study
• Work closely with PMs as we roll-out improvements so that we can refine it as the product gets real-world use
• Be accountable for how well a solution addresses a problem
We Will
• Champion work-life harmony. Well give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.

How? By hiring people around the world who want to help us support coaches, players, analysts, recruiters, teams, clubs and fans. Hudl customers use our products to... capture video, analyze data, share highlights and a lot more. They stay ahead of the game with the latest technology and we help them achieve their goals.
An Account Executive's primary responsibility is market development of net new or acquisition revenue, plus expanding current accounts. This role will be concentrated on U.S. and Canadian clubs, high schools and small colleges. The large majority of your sales will take place in online demos and over the phone, but you'll also occasionally travel to your territory to thrive on the front lines (one of our company values) with prospects.
At Hudl, we pair Account Executives (who focus on growing acquisition revenue) with Customer Success Managers (who focus on engagement, implementation and renewal revenue). This helps us ensure we're growing across all sports, product verticals and locations, in addition to supporting customers journeys with Hudl.
You Are
• Experienced. You have at least two years of business-to-business sales experience and have a consistent track record of achieving, even exceeding, goals.
• Motivated. You love to beat your own records, expect the best from yourself, and always want to keep improving.
• Organized. You own your territory by mapping out your days with the prospects you’re going to contact, and you’re comfortable working in a remote environment.
You Will
• Own a sales cycle. You’ll collaborate with athletic directors and coaches to ensure their schools and teams have what they need to develop and improve.
• Close sales on the phone and through online demos. We believe the more calls and demos you make, the more sales you make.
• Work across multiple sports. Whether it’s global football or American football, you’ll know how every team can benefit from video analysis. Understanding our customer personas regardless of sport is extremely important.
We Will
• Celebrate work at Hudl retreats. We like to gather our Hudlies from around the world to showcase achievements and strategize for the future.
• Treat you like an adult. We’re all about a healthy work-life balance. We’ll give you unlimited vacation time and have company-wide timeout days (no meetings allowed).
• Provide career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.

• Final Interview via Zoom
• 60-minute panel with three Sales Managers
