Position Description
Working under the guidance of the Plant Manager, the Site Lead manages the day-to-day operation and maintenance of utility scale wind and solar power plants. Administrative duties would include but not limited to, creating weekly and monthly reports, Domina G, assigning work to crews, leading the plan of the day, contracting work, etc. This position carries non-exempt status and requires the Site Lead to assist with all turbine and BOP work. This position, in almost all cases, will directly report to the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
• Strict management and compliance of all company and project environmental, health and safety programs.
• Contribute to site safety performance improvement by holding workers and themselves accountable for safety. Participate in and promote job/work package safety analysis, job site safety observations, audits, safety meetings, safety training, injury/event assessment, and investigation/root cause analysis.
• Ensure the plant provides maximum availability/reliability in a safe, economical, and proactive manner by providing direction and supervision to plant personnel.
• Increase asset optimization and plant profitability within engineering design parameters, in conformance with approved procedures and plant permits.
• Participate/lead in the development and revision of site procedures ensuring input from subject matter experts.
• Assist with management of the performance of work teams through clear communication of expectations, engaging team in work completion and process improvement. Perform QA/QC processes as needed for site personnel.
• Oversees work crews and participates in operations, maintenance, and warranty activities of all wind plant equipment, and ensuring compliance with manufacturers' requirements.
• Provide leadership that encourages use of new plant information technology as well as an integrated learning approach to work.
• Communicate regularly with all personnel to ensure satisfaction of internal/external customer requirements.
• Ensure required regulatory and technical training is identified and completed for the work team, including applicable qualifications. Hold team accountable for attending, participating, and applying training.
• Work with Plant Manager in planning outages and day-to-day activities. Ensure execution of daily work schedule.
• Read schematics to troubleshoot complicated mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems with variable pitch, variable speed control systems and components.
• Participate with the mechanical and electrical component repair or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions following all manufacturers' requirements.
• Perform preventive maintenance in accordance with OEM maintenance manuals.
Additional Responsibilities
• Participate in staffing and selection process for work team positions. Participate in site workforce planning activities and performance evaluations.
• Assist with and provide information to the Plant Manager or other personnel to set and manage budgets.
• Coach, mentor and develop team personnel.
• Participate in or lead business unit improvement initiatives.
• Temporarily perform duties as the Plant Manager in his/her absence.
Skills and Requirements
• Two-year college or technical school certificate; or 4+ years of related experience or power industry training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4+ years’ experience in power plant operations and maintenance
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to perform all physical requirements of the job
• Advanced computer skills utilizing word processing, spreadsheets, email, facility control, management and reporting systems. Including the use of computerized diagnostic and troubleshooting tools.
• Ability to work in extremely adverse weather conditions
• Ability to work around low and medium voltage
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Knowledge of heavy equipment required for facility maintenance with a working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in wind plant operations and wind turbine experience
• Experience in high voltage maintenance and switching
• Experience establishing and improving preventative maintenance programs

7. Monitors SAP OMS (Gas Trouble and Emergency), Gas Dispatcher radio and telephone traffic, processes stakeout requests and dispatches appropriate Field Operations Crews to respond to exposed or damaged gas Mains or Services.

The Substation Projects Engineer - P&C will be responsible for Substation Protection and Control designs for major capital projects...
The Engineer in Projects organization is an engineer position with responsibilities over the portfolio of projects assigned to the Unit where the Engineer will be assigned to, ensuring each project is engineered in compliance with regulations, company standards, and consistently across the board.
Position reports to the Unit Manager, but the position will work day-to-day in cross functional project team and support project needs as dictated by the Project Manager and Unit Manager.
Experience with control and protection schematics and single one-line diagrams and knowledge of national and international standards, regulations, and compliance requirements associated with power system protection.
Responsibilities
- Project detailed engineering, designs and calculations using standard methodology & principles including all phases such as: scoping and budgeting, conceptual engineering, engineering design, construction, and closeout.
- Maintain, & understand drawings (e.g., schematics, one-line diagrams, etc...).
- Develop & specify equipment, assemble documents & other requirements for assignments of projects using depth & breadth of expertise in own discipline.
- Ensure all engineering designs implemented by the company meet applicable company, local, state, and national codes and standards.
- Ability to collaborate across departments.
- Work independently although supervision might be required.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
- 3-5 years minimum relevant experience
