Students will enhance their existing skill set by learning strategies to improve health outcomes in diverse communities by conducting health education workshops, developing, and implementing outreach strategies to specific racial ethnic minority communities, and create culturally competent resources that can be utilized by these communities to prevent or manage cardiovascular disease, hypertension and stroke. RESPONSIBILITIES INTERNSHIP OUTCOMES: Understand the principles and practices of public health planning, research administration, and evaluation. Creation of event RSVP pages and other collateral needed for events, including printing and mailing resources to field staff, volunteers, and partners as needed.
• Ensuring up-to-date tracking of all volunteer activities and event attendance in Salesforce.
Qualifications:

• Ability to work remotely, with some regional travel.
