• We're looking for a support engineer to join our team in Chicago. This is a very hands-on, technical role, that is much broader than a typical ticket-based support position. Our Support Engineers partner with our customers to tackle the challenging technical issues they face in innovative ways. In this role, you will be directly responsible for helping people integrate Intercom into their products, diagnose and report problems they have, and serve as the bridge between our customers and our product teams.

What skills do I need? 📖

The basic requirements to be successful in this role are:
• Solid basic knowledge of programming. You don’t have to be proficient in one of the languages we use (Ruby and JavaScript) but you should have an active interest in learning them
• Computer Science degree or 1-2 years working in a web development background
• Previous experience with problem solving in a troubleshooting environment

However, great support takes more than tech skills, so we also need you to have:
• A real interest in helping a high volume of customers who range from experienced developers to non-technical

The base salary range for this role is targeted at $122,200 - $165,400 in Washington and California (Non-SF Metro) and $135,800 - $183,800 for the San Francisco Bay Area. You'll help to meticulously plan, analyse, promote and execute our events.
This is an opportunity to join a team of producers, designers, writers and consultants who have a lot of fun applying their skills in creating events that are quickly becoming a benchmark in our industry. You will be a core part of the events team in Dublin, holding all the pieces together and working through minute by minute schedules, collaborating and executing on our goals and ensuring the success of our projects.
What will I be doing?
As an Event Coordinator you will:
Own and develop our in-office and external speaking events. From logistics to execution - it's all yours. Here's an example of the types of events that we've hosted in the past. Your job will be to take simple events like this, elevate them and make them your own
Own the community events that we host in our Dublin office, for example Node.js and XX+Data
Carry out core, detailed administrative and event support from event research and data analysis to speaking with our customers directly
Own and run Intercom community and social events including our Intercom Speakeasy, film screenings and our customer meetups, worldwide
Work closely with our product, recruiting, sales, content and brand design teams
In addition to the day to day of supporting events, here's some examples of projects you might work on:

What skills do I need?
This role is for you if you've previously owned and executed on events (big or small) in a professional setting - preferably for a brand in the tech industry.
You should have a direct passion and interest in events, excellent communication skills, an obsessive attention to detail, an ability to track data, as well as a strong personal drive and an interest in how software is changing the world.
You need to be comfortable working as part of a small team and managing your time efficiently, dealing with the uncertainty and unpredictability of the fast-paced startup world.
We'd also like you to have:
At least two years of experience in an events, administrative or creative role and/or a bachelor's degree in arts and humanities
Personal style and creativity, demonstrable through a portfolio of work, personal mood boards, a blog or whatever way you choose
High proficiency with Excel, Google Docs
As a bonus: Experience working in some aspect, big or small, in live events - TV, film, fashion, music or theatre

As the Sr. Salesforce (CPQ) Admin, you will be responsible for creating custom solutions to simplify and where possible, automate the quote-to-cash processes in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a highly talented and energetic Sr. Salesforce CPQ Admin with a mastery of Salesforce CPQ that can help manage our product catalog and streamline our quote-to-cash processes.

What will I be doing? 🚀
• Manage the CPQ infrastructure that supports our product catalog used for quoting and order creation including product and pricing rules, order templates, e-signature integrations, approvals and discount matrices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain our product catalog and Quote to Cash integrations in order to bring automation and optimization to our Sales and Accounting teams.
• Implement processes and controls in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley financial and ITGC requirements.
• Perform independent peer reviews and certify code developed by other team members
• Follow Salesforce development best practices and guidelines in implementing solutions and test cases, without creating technical debt and maintaining security in the application
• Partner with the Engineering team to develop custom applications and perform testing using Salesforce Apex and Visualforce.
• Partner with Business Systems Analysts to understand business requirements in order to build solutions that meet the needs of the Pricing and Packaging, legal, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, and Accounting teams.
• Uplevel the skillset of the Business System team’s CPQ capabilities through knowledge transfer, thorough documentation, and demonstrating solutions to other members of the team.
• Participate in change management activities (UAT, training, communications, business readiness etc.) supporting program rollouts in partnership with Sales Operations and other business operation teams.

What skills do I need? 📖
• 7+ Years of Salesforce Administration including at least 5 years implementing, managing, and maintaining Salesforce CPQ/Steelbrick in various
• Mastery of Salesforce CPQ capabilities to support usage-based, subscription, and one-time fees, including complex product and pricing rules, multi-dimensional quoting, and custom pricing models.
• Experience working in a public company managing Quote to Cash audit processes related to the product catalog and discount approval processes.
• Experience with financial systems (Zuora, Netsuite) is a plus
• Familiarity with the following: Salesforce Developer Console / Workbench / API Tooling (REST preferred), Visual Workflow, and other development tools
• Experience with integrating 3rd-party APIs with the Salesforce platform
• Expertise with standard Salesforce Administration and no/low-code development capabilities: configuration, standard/custom data models, security, and automations such as validation rules, workflows, and event-based frameworks.
• Thorough understanding of the constraints of Salesforce platform and how to build around them, particularly with regards to governor limits and best practices in delivering business requirements in the context of those constraints
• Experience with GitHub-based CI/CD and deployment techniques (such as Gearset) in Salesforce
• Experience with the Salesforce Security Model
• Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including modern integration technologies like Workato.
